So, all we know of as store exclusives are... 3 already released toys(which are precursors, but fit the model) and Starscream.

Ouch! Like some have said about the other premiums, I expect there to be a ton of repacked/returned premium figures with the regular molds inside.

    *scratches head*

STILL not feeling the urge to get those molds, but it's alright Hasbro, you can stop trying so hard. Japanese Nightwatch Optimus Prime was as close as you got, but I still managed to resist.

Fine by me, i've held off on Megatron in the hopes he'd get a mass retail release with movie-accurate paint and it's almost here. Going to be a pain getting that Starscream though since Target doesn't exist here.

I'm going to probably pass on both of these. I can't keep shelling out $40 for every Leader repaint. Besides, I've already got the metallic voyager Megs, which I'm very happy with even though it's got the ice on it. As for Prime, I've got the original and the Nightwatch. I don't need a third version. Although, the sword makes it very tempting. But, I shall resist!

I don't own Prime and I want this one.

Will I ever see it on a shelf though? That is the real question.

The only voyager I was able to pick up was starscream, so I might at least get Blackout. He looks pretty sweet.

    Maybe to Megatron.

    Big maybe to Prime.

I'll have to see them in person before I shell out another $40 each.

I need clearer pics, but I may end up getting both of these guys. If for no other reason then to display together going one on one.

They both look very nice, but I already have the original versions and dont want to pay the leader class prices again, I need all my money for when animated hits.

wow, these look fantastic. Megs no longer looks like a prototype or bootleg. he finally gets metallic colors and a more movie accurate face; I never liked the Megs toy cuz his weapons were crap --- so small and insignificant; the worst weapons of all Post Beast Wars Megatrons. heck even GF Master Megs are better. but the accurate paintjob and brown/gold accentuations really help so I'll pick him up. Prime gets the same treatment and seeing the metallic paint on him is awesome. definitely picking these up, so glad I never bought any of the movie toys, I had a feeling Hasbro would market the toys as much as possible, glad I waited

I do feel sorry for those hardcore collectors who buy every single repaint, slight repaint (i.e. battle damaged Arcee), repackaged toys, etc. I used to be so hardcore, sometimes it felt as if I couldn't free myself from this vicious cycle of having to buy every single transformer Hasbro would dish out whether it be Armada Prime, Armada cards, Armada posters, Armada comic books, Armada McDonald toys etc. It was so addictive that even transformers toys I had no interest in (TF universe stuff mostly; Skydive anyone?) I had to buy cuz it became an obligation. but I'm free from that vicious addictive cycle and thank goodness cuz that's money earned for me, the reason I bring this up is cuz let's face it fans, and this is especially aimed at the hardcore collectors, do we really need 20 Optimus Primes??? I mean just look at how many times Optimus has been released: regular, nightwatch, premium, robovision, regular voyager, g1 painted voyager, battle-damaged voyager, etc etc. I wouldn't be surprised if hasbro makes ultra magnus and nemesis prime versions of these, not to say it's wrong but a little consideration for hardcore collectors buying the same toy a dozen times.

p.s. someone mentioned people r gonna start swapping their figs for the premium ones: most definitely, even a monkey can do that so I'll have to get my premium figs immediately to avoid this situation. not only that, I gotta beware of those f#$%^&g scalpers.

It's slightly tempting but there would be reprimands w/ my lady if I buy them. But I think I may hold off, I'm ready for the animated line. I got basically all the ones I want.
