EDIT: The 2-stage, slide out silver sword with the sheath is Hasbro's from Premium Optimus Prime. It attaches onto the arm where the missile launcher was.

The one-piece clear blue sword is the Asian TFClub custom.

Yeah, the sword is from Premium Optimus Prime (not the Prime pictured there).

Erm, the sword is from Premium Optimus Prime, but the Prime figure there is just Nightwatch Optimus Prime.

As far as we know, Premium Prime will have either a new or a retooled head.

Methinks the Opaque is the custom made blade that occasionally pops up on Ebay.

And that's a VERY nice sword. If the head and paint of the Premium figure itself are good enough I might consider getting that after all as well.

I think you need to clarify that the transluscent blue sword that doesn't attach as a gimmick is the asian TFClub custom, while the more one with the slide-out extending blade is Hasbro's.

You should also remove the last attachment where the Nightwatch Prime toy has the TF Club blade, or people will be confused :)

There we go, the clear blue sword is the custom, while Hasbro's is the opaque one. Another clue is it actually utlises the toy's gimmick, while the custom blue one doesn't

okay, so it's established that the blade is apparently legit, but why is it on Nightwatch Prime? Product demo maybe?

Unfortunately, I don't think Premium Prime's blade is going to look half as good as this custom.

No, somebody probably swiped the sword (since it's easier to pocket than the entire Premium Optimus Prime toy) from a factory or somewhere. Hasbro's photos suggest it will have more paint on it.

The more complex blade that slides out is Hasbro's. The Energon-like clear blue blade is a custom.

Meh, the custom looks better. Plus it's actually the right color. This would have been fine if it was what they released leader prime with in the first place, but if they're trying to make a $40 toy more accurate so people buy a 2nd and 3rd, why not make the blade color right as well?

Because the sword was metal coloured, but glowed orange with energy.

It looks too pointy for a North American release. I've lost an eye just looking at it.

I would like one, not having any other version of the leader Prime.

It's probably as bendy as the swords on my Titanium Cheetor I just opened.

Plus it appears to slide out of the sheath, so it would retract if enough force were applied

Personally, I just superglued an X-Acto knife onto Leader Prime.
