    I'm looking to get a team of Masterpiece-scale Insecticons. As things stand in later 2016, what is the best team, if price is no object?

    If money is no object and you just want Insecticons now, get them all and have a swarm. I'm passing on all of them for now but if I were to buy any set, it would be the deluxe BC versions.

    Had BC Evil Bug Corps but sold them. I don't have any Insecticons at the moment, I haven't had the time to purchase any. I'm trying to save money for my new PC rig. I'm planning on getting the FT guys when I have the chance.

    FT look the best to me, but I wasn't happy with the design of their Kickback which has a fragile piece/poor design. I might have gone with a different set if I'd known.

    I have both the Badcube and Fanstoys. My Badcube bugs are currently for sale in the for sale thread. While there are some things I like about the Badcube ones I feel they Fanstoys bugs are the superior set. They have a more premium feel and just look so good on a shelf.

    Am I the only one who wants toy only Insecticons in MP style? Venom, Barrage, Chop Shop and Ransack. Obscure characters like that are perfect for 3P to tackle.

    I have the FansToys ones. I still haven't transformed Kickback, for what it's worth.

    The BC bugs seem small, overpriced and with proportions that don't suit me, at least for an MP display.

    Fansproject did make a 3 pack as a TFsource exclusive, in homage to the deluxe bugs.

    They're a bit smaller than BC and FT, but they were released much earlier.

    Currently being sold for a good price on TFsource

    I never cared for how FT handled the bug legs. The kibble is atrocious.

    I get over it. I don't display my figures backwards and they look so good in both bot and bug mode I don't care. I like the way Badcube's clean up but the bug legs don't look nearly as good in bug mode.

    I think it depends. I have the Badcube set, but I like a toon style MP collection. If you want a toy style MP collection, you should get the Fanstoys set.
