Each one of these films just seems to go on longer and longer. I really want to know where the limit is for the run time of a movie based off a toy line. Considering just how much stuff has happened in the shooting, and the fact that we haven't even seen what Optimus has been up to out in space, I reckon this film is sure as heck going to be longer than the last one.
They'd be absolute fools if this movie is longer than AOE. These movies have no business being 2 hr 20 +. Having said that, I'm guessing 2 hr 35.
Hopefully shorter than the fourth film, I like the films but seriously the films need to stop this weird habit of getting longer and longer. Same goes for Bumblebee's movie, love the character but my back would not last if the film got anywhere up to three hours long.
I'd say anywhere from 2 1/2 hrs - 3 hrs, given all the stuff they're apparently cramming into this one.
It's seems they're covering a lot of ground with filming this time, i wonder if they are actually shooting scenes for the sequels at the same time?
I'm going with about 3.5 hours. There's ALOT going on in this film and it's suppose to be tying all 5 Transformers films together.
Initially I would've guessed about 2 hrs 5 min, but after all we've seen I'm going up to 2 hrs 45 min.
I predict it to go Return of The King (Theatrical Version), and end up at 200 minutes. In all seriousness, I think it'll probably be closer to 150.
Either - end credits - 145 minutes, 155 minutes or 160 minutes. You'd be barmy to make TLK longer than AOE. I'm sorry, you would.
I rather like long movies . I hope it's the longest one yet. That being said, I wish Bay would go back and revamp the past movies and clear up some editing mistakes and add some extra stuff in that he couldn't before or didn't have time to before.
I like long movies at the cinema, so long as i have enough beer and popcorn, and have had enough sleep the night before, I'll be honest AOE flew by at the cinema. (BvS... not so much! ) The problem for me is rewatch value, i don't get a lot of movie time at home, and if i put on a movie longer than 100 minutes i just start to think about the movies i haven't seen yet, or TV shows i could be catching up on! Even bonefide quality long movies like TDK and Winter Soldier, very rarely get a rewatch, and i really do want to rewatch them! I would like to sit with my son every now and and rewatch a TF movie together, but it's such a commitment! I don't think i'll ever sit through ROTL or DOTM again! And of course, sorry to bring it up, once you get over the initial roller coaster appeal of a Transformers movie, that don't really have the substance to support their length.
