hey guys im sorry but i dont know where to post questions about prices for something so im just trying here well i went to a department store and they got a Predaking on display and i asked them if they are selling it and they said its about 165usd supposedly its complete and they still have the box for it they let me hold it and its quite heavy like its got lots of metal parts i guess well id appreciate it if you guys can tell me if 165 is worth it or how much it usually goes for thanks
Department store has a G1 Predaking on display???? Depends on whether it is a vintage Predaking or Reissue. Either way both are definitely worth the $165 price tag especially if complete with box.
WOoooaH...... What department store are we talkin about here dude? Sounds like you held a diecast version which is highly sought after. Assuming the decals are already applied and its in fair condition and complete with all the accessories and box, I would say about $150 bucks.

i don't know where you can find a complete diecast predaking for 150?!?! sign me up in a heartbeat for that price.. cheapest you see a complete one recently would be at least 200-250... you might get lucky and get one to display for 150 but i doubt it would be complete with all weapons.
sorry didnt know where to post this well its a department store in taiwan i already bought a mp-07 thundercracker misb here for roughly 100 bucks they also got a 2007 movie sale so i bought first strike voyager prime and battle damage voyager prime for about 25 bucks well i went back again today and saw the predaking not sure which version it is but ill probably go back and find out more about it the guy at the store told me its complete and i think it might be because people in taiwan cant really afford to collect toys thats as expensive as transformers the predaking is in a locked glass case so i suppose it is in quite good condition
ask him for the stamping on the toys, if it's made in China then it's the reissue. Usually the condition for the predaking could be tell from Divebomb's wing stickers, if it looks almost new then it's most likely a reissue. You should also ask to see the box, it's very easy to tell if it's a reissue or not from the box. Also, all 5 reissue predacons use diecast metal. As for completion, Don't just take seller's word for it, make sure you check it yourself. It should come with 2 hands, 2 feets, 1 head, 1 shoulder canon, 5 swords and 8 black guns.

well they also got mp-08 grimlock misb for about 160 and pepsi prime for about 75 they got a chain of stores and i have to go check out 7 of the stores in a city about 2 hours away hopefully ill find more but now gonna focus on finding out more about the predaking they got any information on the reissue predaking is appreciated =)
165 is a good deal ive seen him sell for upwards of 300 on ebay so go for it imo if you have the cash. such a nice figure.
hope i wont be disappointed when i go check it out for completeness tomorrow too bad the other lady that works there wont sell me the black zarak because she said its hers and not the companys =(
300+ is usually for MISB, 165 is a decent price as long as everything is present including the plastic insert and papers.
Just because it is the metal version, doesn't mean it's the reissue. I have a bunch of vintage metal versions. Like mentioned before, ask to the see the toys and box. If the box has Japanese writing on it, then it is the reissue. If the toys are made in china, it is the reissue. Either way. if it is the reissue or vintage, I'd buy it in a heartbeat (as long as it's not a KO in original boxes/gifset box or reissue box).
just came back from the store its the japanese D-78 20th anniversary version of the predaking it does have 5 swords and 8 guns and the stickers for it are still in a sealed bag the edges of the box for the figures seems kinda beat hmm someone mentioned shoulder cannons but i dont seem to see any shoulder cannons in pics of the figure i see online
oh i guess its the cannon on predakings arm then ya it does have it somewhat beat box complete with 5 swords and 8 guns and shoulder cannon stickers not applied in sealed bag thats about it so is 165 a good deal for this?
sounds good to me then ill just stop by these few days and pick it up told them to hold it for me so they better not sell it to anyone
