I have the D-62 reissue and the TFCC Piranacon, those cost me enough, and now both being re-released in the same year different enough that I feel the urge to buy... last year was a pretty barren one for me as a G1 head; this 2010 campaign... Ghost MP SS... glad to get some love even if it is 'all at once'.
Awesome & also Pre-ordered, thanks. When I emailed them last week, I was told that they wouldn't be getting this set in...weird but I'm glad they did
That was the Classics Sons of Cybertron set they said they weren't getting in, which is a limited release. The Animated Sons of Cybertron set is a mass (Japanese) release, and not as limited. Randy
Because Predaking is a Takara release and the Seacons are from Hasbro. Takara knows all about profiteering.
Also the size of it, Predaking is made off 5 big robots (about Clasics Prime size, so basically 5 voyagers), while Piranacons have 5 small scout-sized bot and a bigger one (who is smaller than a Predaking bot).
Size, weight, diecast, and more paint apps for starters. And remember, Piranacon has one deluxe while Predaking has five.
that looks like an all plastic version...tantrum's waist is all the same color...on the die cast version he is different colors...
Gold looks good . I would like to get one $179.00 I have the first reissue cant remember how much that one was....
I'm definitely not going to miss this. I saw a G1 Predaking in a display case at a collectibles shop years ago, and have wanted one ever since. This one is actually "affordable"!
whats the difference between the two other than the colors? can anyone put a pic of the new and old side by side? i never had predaking ever before. so im deciding which is the way to go.
Because Predaking could bitch-slap King Posiedon in his sleep, underwater, and with the lights turned off... [/Egon Spengler]
