Okay, I've heard a lot of rumors involving the origins of this guy but nothing definitive... 1) The designer was brought onboard from another company. The said designer had worked on some super sentai series or something, hence the lion head chest. 2) The toy was not initially available in Japan because of this, because the legal issues of the toy/character was too similar to an existing character of a competing toy company. Can anyone shed some light on this?
For some reason, I imagine the interviewee speaking with an english accent...thanks. It doesn't mention anything about Predaking not being available at first, though...I guess that was just a rumor?
