So with the actual release of Predaking's true personality, voice and over all character.


Whom do you prefer, G1 Predaking or Prime Predaking?


As much as I love the awesomeness of the original, the latter seems so much stronger as a character, even has a better origin and the overall Predacons themselves seem to be better.

Although I wouldn't mind prime versions of prehistoric mammals and an actual bird based off of Ravage, Razorclaw, Headstrong, Tantrum and Divebomb though.

TFP version, a lot more interesting to me.

 

For sure the TFP Predaking. Like you said he has a stronger character and he's just more badass than the original.

Definitely prime, all that emotion he showed when he saw the " apparent " destruction of the predacons, he's such a likable guy and he picked up a freaking mountain sized boulder.

 

Prime Predaking just blew me away.

I really feel for the guy. He's a naive outcast caught up in Megatron's lies.

Also, it was rather sad how few fucks Shockwave gave about him.

 

Yeah, I was surprised how little Shockwave cared.

But seriously, asking which version people like better on the prime forum, immedietly after everyone had just seen his spanky-new episode is pretty unsurprising that everyone is going for the Prime version. xP

 

Wow......he truly his Victor Frankenstein and much like the creation of Adam, he cares not for the creature that is Predaking.

If anything, I can see him strapping him down to do horrendous "experiments" to learn more, while Predaking pleads to his "Father".

 

That's the plan.

 

I know next to nothing about the G1 version of Predaking, so I can't really answer this question honestly. That said, I do like that the TFP version is his own character, and not the combined form of several others.

 

I like Prime Predaking because he is an actual character, not a combined form of other characters. Speaking of which he is perfect in every way. They are setting him up more like a tragic hero then just a straight up villian.

Seriously? This is Shockwave we're talking about, how shocked can you really be? I love that Knock Out and Starscream seem to overestimate Shockwave's ability to feel constantly as well lol.

 

This, he reminds me of idw Shockwave.
But the question is, is he truly loyal to Megs, or do he have his own Logical agenda.

As for Predaking, PRIME.

But yeah, prime for sure.

 

Design and aesthetics wise? Surely G1 Predaking hands down.

But as a character? Prime version all the way.

So, because i care about char development and such above all else i too vote for the Prime one.

 

I said it was sad. I never said it was shocking.

Predaking seems like a pretty decent individual from what we've seen so far. Can't help it- I think it's sad that he burned his bridge with the Autobots for a group of Cons who are making a fool out of him. Even his own creator would pull the trigger without a second thought. And he has no idea.

 

G1 Predaking lost to Sky Lynx who disassembled him simply TRIPPING HIM

Prime Predaking used a STALAGTITE as a RAM!

Prime.

I got the Beast Fire version of the toy because he finally gets to transform. And the actual Predaking did not disappoint. Transforming wasn't enough, he, to say the least, kicked @$$.

Had I not gotten the toy yet, I would've been very very very giddy to get it after watching that episode.
