I really wouldn't be surprised if they set coupons to expire the day before a scheduled restock. No grand conspiracy, just business.

Agreed. HTS must issue these coupons in certain intervals/expiration dates. The expiration date/coupon you receive should give you ample time to redeem it. But after all you don't think HTS knows exactly when these coupons expire in order to time their availability/release dates of figures (because they can) but not saying they do because frankly I don't know, and have no proof.

Well, 15% off $6 figures may not be a lot, but multiplied over several hundreds or thousands of orders, it can really add up.

If we’re going to talk about 15% off, has anyone noticed the HTS price of the Generations/BH Deluxe figures, are conveniently $14.99? If you knock off 15% off that price, you’re down to what retail Target and WM are selling them at. HTS wins either way. If you use/have the coupon, they still profit what B&M are making, likely even more seeing the difference between online and B&M costs to run a business. If you don’t have a coupon, well then it’s just icing on the cake for them.

Let's throw out a different example. I'm sure we're all aware MP-02 Soundwave and Acid Storm are coming up this week, right? Do you think TRU is going to be putting out any 20% discount coupons, BOGO, or BOGO 1/2 off for TFs? Of course not...that's just common business sense.

The availability of the 3 legions at HTS thereafter the coupon expired, very well may have been a coincidence, and that's fine, I can accept that. All I am saying is that there is just a part of me that wants to believe it's just too convenient for them, that's all.

I think the bottom line like anything else is "you win some, you lose some." And for HTS, they have to win more times than lose so they can turn a profit as “that’s business.”

But definitely bought on sight!! I've got hungrr and sinnertwin, haven't seen any others though so this is awesome news!! I'll still pick up the individuals, If I can find them at retail....

I can not find any of the individually carded figures here (not even Twinstrike/Sinnertwin). This'll make getting Abominus all the much easier. Hopefully this'll reach nation-wide saturation soon.

This could've been $20 just by reducing the box by at least 1/3.

This is still nice little set though and a very decent price.

 

That is a good price since the individual ones will cost more in the end.

Somewhat glad to hear others have not seen the last 3 terrorcons at retail yet... I thought I had missed them already. Here's hoping they show soon!

 

Just a quick heads up. The set has the figure on the back missed named. Were the figures are correctly named in the instructions.
So as listed:
Hun-gurrr named Twinstrike on package
Windrazor named Hun-gurrr on package
Predacon Rippersnapper named Windrazor on package
Twinstrike named Predacon Rippersnapper on package
Blight is the only one named correctly on the packaging.
