I think if Bay wanted Optimus to have a trailer, he would have either included it already or had it be a hollowgram, like the drivers or w/e

Yeah. That makes the most sense. Not like he's going to just throw the armor away. It's still pretty useful.

Unless bay already has a scheme of having it somewhat destroyed and never able to be used again after this movie.

Combined mode looks excellent. That's a lot like how Jetfire himself should have been, IMO. This design also reminds me of that Prime fanart posted ages where he was combined with his trailer, chiefly the vertical engines/cannons on his back.

 

Probably Prime will be a triple changer next movie. Transforming into a truck and plane

 

I doubt it, Prime was never a plane ((at least i don't think so)), the only thing i can think of is he pulls a Cybertron OP on us, and folds everything off his already alt form. Which can only mean that we get a bigger truck in the next film.

Or as i said before it's unusable by the end of the film.

 

He could just ask Ratchet to remove it all after eventhing settles down. Give Jetfire a decent send off kinda thing.

Dunno about you but having a dead guys body parts stuck to me wouldn't be particually appealing.

 

Yeah that would be kind of creepy. Like if they'd given what was left of Jazz' legs to remake Bumblebee's legs at the end of the first film.

I just hope they revive Jetfire in TF3, so then I can go "Ha" at all the guys who want Prime more GeeWun. Aww... who am I kidding...  

But if not, I hope Prime doesnt keep the Armor. I just wouldnt find it fitting... only in this film to honour JF.

It would totally work as his trailer. It'd be like Ultra Magnus or Samurai Prowl where the extra bits could become his armor.
