After seeing how nice my Deluxe Class Optimus Prime turned out, I decided it was time to give him a companion. Taking an Armada Optimus Primal Keychain/Flashlight figurine that I found in an antique mall, I first cut some plastic to cover up the battery compartment. Then, after a very quick disassembly, I set to work on repainting the little guy. Some details couldn't be added, like the red eyes, or the black "raccoon mask" around them. But ultimately, I think he turned out well. Comments and criticism welcomed! Also, "Before" Pics aren't mine.
Thanks! I had it as a kid as well. I'm 40 and grew up on the Unicron Trilogy. G1 was my introduction and biggest fascination to Transformers. But by far, Armada was one of my personal non-G1 favorites. When I found this keychain, I just had to grab it.
