    UPDATE:

Well i guess he's pretty much finished. I need to figure out a way to attach the plane nose and such. And give him some paint touch-ups.

I think he looks ok. It didn't take very long to do, and most importantly, it was fun.

I guess you could call him a Chestmaster, considering his chest comes out and transforms into a robot and a small plane.

I'm really enjoying trying my hand at custom transformers. I have some sheets of styrene plastic coming in any day now, so i'm anxious to try my hand at that. :)

    Here's something I started today.

I was in family dollar the other day and found a couple of transforming robots called defender robots. one of them is just like a small star saber.

When I saw him, i thought his face resembled powerglide. So today I've been attempting to make a powerglide out of him.

He's still being painted and the wings and such are tacked together to show what the plane mode is suppose to look like.

Anways, thought I would share. will be updated tomorrow, probably finished.

    Cheers,

That's a pretty good version of old Powerglide, probably smaller than the Ultra version we just got. I would however take a Dremel or Xacto knife to the sides of his head to trim off some of the non-powerglide features

interesting idea turning starsabre into powerglide.

i'm guessing somebody's going to do the exact opposite with the ultra toy

Ive always thought Transformers need to introduce the Crotchmasters and Assmaster. They would be a hit!!!! Awesome custom!

    Sweet idea.

Great use of those knock-offs, I have about 5 of them lying here around the place. Pretty durable and they're good for parts.

and he's a brainmaster btw, but chestmaster seems more accurate.

Overload turns into Universe Rail Racer's "ass", so that might make him an "Assmaster"
