Sorry to be a downer but i prefer IDW to keep it down on the powerfull deity stuff at least for a while, wasnt the biggest fan of the whole Dvoid thing.
This. I never really liked the tacked-on mythological BS, save for Unicron, and I much prefer the movie version where Unicron is more of a Galactus type character (as in he's a powerful ancient being that could be equated to a god, but is not in fact a god). Transformers is a lot more interesting without the cop out of "Primus/Unicron/DevilZ/etc. did it" and I'm glad the IDW comics mostly treat the religious stuff as superstition.
I don't know who most of these chaps are I'm afraid, and I kinda prefer the theme set by IDW where it's a mystery whether entities like Primus and the Guiding Hand actually excited. But I will admit that I do like TF's when there's a sort of 'mystical' sheen to them, I just don't think IDW is the place for it.
I've always wanted to learn more about Dark Nova, but I don't think the IDW continuity is the right place for him. Violen Jiger would be a good enough character to flesh out, but I would like to see more than one Quintesson in the IDW canon before this three faced freak shows up. Devil Z, unless they retcon him to be a mutant spark, I'm not sure what they can do with another basic devil character. There is however one being with a god complex I would like to see introduced in the IDW comics, if they can get him right. He was once known as the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the end. And he loved rubber duckies, yesss.
H ? Edit: Ah, you wanted to type "He". Sorry, didn't realise Now that i've done some research on the guys i wasnt immediatly familiar with i can appreciate Dark Nova and Violen Jiggler a bit because they where essentially Decepticon leaders and there is something to a being created from the the sparks of defeated soldiers but as has been said i prefer to explore these creatures in their native fiction. I'm with Lord Cryotek on this, especially conserning Unicron. And yessss. Count me in for that too
None, really. I prefer more finesse approach to storyteling where deities are left as vague objects of belief and tradition.
Bring on Primacron, so he can control all the beast Transformers and The One could be a cool character to see.
I can see any of them be more grounded versions of themselves yet still evoke some mystical element of their original incarnations.
Devil Z is relatively small scale compared to others and he creates hybrid cybertronian/human life. Which could at least hypothetically be pretty awesome. Pretty much none of the others.
Thirded. If any of the characters on the list, then Primacron. Since he's not a deity or anything. Feel free to update the design to something less lame, though. Yeah, he sounds not bad when you describe him like that. In reality though, he's just a low-rent Sousai X.
