Oh, good: another Transformers toy line. We certainly didn't have enough of them going simultaneously.

You do realise some are going to be over once this hits stores, right?..

Transformers fans - one moment they're complaining there are not enough toys, then they're complaining there are too many toys?........

4Chan? Didn't we already run into some news problem involving them before?

    Interesting.

First thing to get out of the: i CAN.NOT. believe they busted out the name 'Huffer'. Back in the ol' days i when Aaron 'Orson' Archer posted on here, i'm pretty sure he said we'd NEVER see that name again, for obvious reasons. (especially on a children's toy :p )

2ndly ~ liking the look. He definately looks more "Cybertron" to me than Classics or Movie-ish (but with a touch of each of those) ~ love everything about the bot mode, although wouldn't mind if his head was a touch bigger. I do wish his face looked a little more G1ish since otherwise his color break-out is nearly dead on.

i'm a huge Targetmaster fan, so this gimmick is REALLY appealing to me. not wild about the translucent plastic on the TM, but i could see them doing a light up effect, which i'm usually against, but like the idea of here ~ it almost seems like Caliburst is kind of 1/2 Targetmaster-1/2 Powermaster

Overall i'm optimistic, especially given the aesthetic isn't so far off from Classics/Universe that they won't be able to work a few in. Looking forward to seeing more @ Toy Fair.

(i do think Power Core Combiners is kind of a lame name though :p )

most likely everything currently coming out now (Movie, Universe Exclusives and the dregs of Animated) will be well and done by the time this line hits next fall...

    So far... so good!

I must say that when something like this comes along, the malaize left in the wake of this summer's cinematic fustercluck begins to lift.

If these guys are as good as they look... I'll probably be on board for the new line. :)

I'm intrigued but not that excited since I don't care about Huffer in particular. I'll be happy to see Targetmasters / Headmasters / etc. return, though.

VERY interesting. I hope it's from the new main line though and not a preview of the next batch of Universe toys...

It potentially could, but I honestly doubt it. It really depends on how long the game's story line is. Specifically if any of it happens after they land on Earth.

PC's are most likely part of either the continuation of Universe, or a part of a potential new show for the new cartoon. Either way I hope that the WfC based Prime figure we've seen gets a mass release.

I realise that, but the sarcasm can be interpreted in two ways. Seeing as I'm such a pessimist, I assumed the negative one. :p

caution! this post contains an exceptional devious and cleverly hidden subliminal message.

i honestly don't know what to make of that photo. obviously a mockup, but is it even a hasbro mockup? it seems plausible that they'd produce a box with a cutout-figure in as part of their product development, but since it came from 4chan it could just as easily be 'shopped with child porn stenographed into the image. probably more likely the latter.

i do however quite like the idea of translucent targetmasters with a lightup gimmick - god knows heerotoysmaker and the other unofficial guys' clear/translucent/glowing WSTs have been flying off ebay's virtual shelves, so hasbro would probably have noticed that and tried to capture a bit of that magic.

not overly excited by that particular toy, but the line has opportunities FUCKING SOUNDWAVE YOU HASBRO FUCKS that they'd be fools to ignore.

    :lol

There's definitely an opportunity to do some fan-favorites (Jazz and Wheeljack, to name a couple); maybe more Targetmaster/Powermaster/Headmaster stuff, too.
As I said in another thread, 2010 is looking like it's going to be a great year for Transformers.
