well...whether or not it combines with a dozen other toys or not, this figure looks sweet...can't wait to see more info...hopefully we start seeing more soon...cuz this just ROCKS!
I honestly disagree. They look like tires. You can see that the back tires end up on his legs, and the front tires end up in his chest.
Wow, I'm kind of surprised they're using the name Huffer. Happily surprised, that is. Looks like this will be an interesting line.
MORE LIKE BRAVEFORMERS MAN WHOOOO HOOOO this is gonna be awesome to the extreme HOLY SHIT FRIJOLIES i have always wanted to see the transformers toyline move in this direction over the years
Targetmaster? SOLD!!! Combiner? SOLD!!! Huffer? SOLD!!!! Mugenbine-ish combining? SOLD!!!! That's a quadruple sold for all of you keeping score at home.
im thinking the smaller one will fit inside the bigger ones chest or something kind of like pretenders with a transformable shell ether way it looks cool.
yah me too. just not feeling it. i love universe and animated and even the movie human alliance but i'm not sure if i can get into another line unless they bust out something nice and G1ny or even something with a war within/steam punky feel to it.
I think it looks great! It has an updated G1 design asthetic: small head, hands, bulky frame, and a bit of kibble but not too much showing in robot mode. The cybertonian game designs don't really tickle me, but this gives me an Energon feel from it. I however still want a Classics line 3.0!! This ain't it.
The news story is a bit misleading. Yeah, G1 Caliburst was a targetmaster, but this guy is a bit different. The interaction in vehicle mode is nice(with neither component needing the other for a complete alt mode, but putting them together just makes them more awesome), but I wonder if there's going to be any interaction in robot mode?
now why does that make me think the Frenzy/Rumble is now part of this after all??? bit of a coincidence surely!
I wonder if the chest plate opens and the smaller character fits inside or if he has a particular place to fit in the robot mode. He might be a little stray in robot mode if he can't fit on the robot in some way in the robot mode as well as the way it's docked on the vehicle mode which is shown. with luck he can at the very least hold the culiburst gun in his hand - it would be nice though if they provide other points of attachment like over the forearm or onto the back or shoulder as well. Roll on back of box pictures.
Thoughts occurred, in order: Yes, fucking Huffer! Huffer! I love Huffer, he was my fave as a kid and now I finally get a new Huffer (discounting the convention repaint). Fuck Prime, fuck Bumblebee. Huuuuufffff-hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Oh, hang on, that doesn't look much like Huffer, really. It's just an orange-y truck Bot. Hmmm, looks like Movie 1 Longarm. Oh, hang on, his transformation looks really simple, and full of panels. This looks like a Cybertron scout/deluxe. Losing interest. Oh, hang on, it's some sort of targetmaster thing that'll be a gun in robot and alt mode. That's quite sweet. Hmmm, definitely smells like a tie-in with the game. Most new-fangled video games for young people involve powering-up your character, and the design, I think, fits. Not sold yet. But it is Huffer.
