They wouldn't add in a minipla, though, as they don't have access to those moulds.

I didn't get that from the original announcement at all.

I just assumed it was parts to make a figure, like a miniature statue or something.

Part of me hope there will be a PR The Movie version of the Legacy Ninja Megazord. Just for the gorillas sake and no hand covers.

Don't get me wrong the Kakure Daishogun is one of the most rad designs ever and I'd gladly own this. But if you want a gorilla that is clearly a macaque.

Just wondering, Bandai will not release every Megazord under their Legacy series right? Just selected Megazord?

I don't know, this is the first I've heard about that. With how the Falconzord's designed it seems like the Shogun Megazord has a chance at least.

Pretty sure they're just going to keep doing them until they stop selling.

That's been the consensus among many, with no basis in fact. However, based on their track record over at BOA, it wouldn't be surprising if they did.

It's money in the bank, basically. Brand new versions of the original runs with better aesthetics, die cast for the first time and show accuracy out the ying yang.

They'll keep it going until we say no.

I think it was the way the reports were worded. Something like "Each ranger will come with a Zord that can form a larger Megazord from their era." While the logical assumption would be a build-a-figure, there was an outside hope among some of us that the Zords would be actual Zords and not just arms, legs, heads, etc.

Yeah, I think the Shogun Megazord is next after the Ninja Megazord, with maybe a short stop at B&G Titanus. After that, I dunno if they go Zeo or just start reissuing the original Megazord again. I could see them doing him with tamped on decals and paint next time to better fit in with the rest of the line.

The Mega Collection is where we might see modern Zord Builder Megazords reissued. It'd be cool if they added some die-cast metal to future releases of those. Then I'd be tempted to double dip. But a couple very minor paint differences ain't enough to drop another $35 on a nigh-identical toy.

I hope this legacy line continues on for a long time. I want to see other megazords get the legacy treatment.

I hope they go on to Zeo and not reissue the original megazord.

Ditto. But can't say the temptation wouldn't be there for Bandai to capitalize off the nostalgia that the new movie will probably stir in many 90's kids. Hopefully, they'll just stick to the Legacy Build-a-figure for that.

I hope they redo the original Megazord. Again. The 2010 design is nowhere near the quality of the others.

I have serious doubts they'll go back. For what it is, it's not bad, but it definitely could've used more articulation, if nothing else.

I'd like to see Bandai make these worth the premium price, make them articulated. In today's world of design, there's nothing holding them back but choice.

Ultimate Daibouken has more articulation than today's items, including the Legacy items. All it really needed was elbow articulation and it would've been pretty much perfect.

I consider Daibouken to be my favorite of ALL the Mecha that have come thus far. I get that they need to make these affordable to produce so we'll buy them and they'll make their money back, but when a run of the mill mass retail Japanese release does it better than Legacy and it's over a decade old, something's wrong with this train of thought they have going.

Ninja's pretty much in the can at this point, but Shogun isn't, not yet. There's still time for them to articulate it. Not some of the way, but all the way. I can forgive a waist swivel, that's fine, but the rest is doable.

Especially at the prices they demand.

Could be, but I know BOA's track record. I at least went in not expecting much.

The RI Comic Con is about 3 months and 2 weeks away and I'm going to it. I want to see any rangers from In Space, Lost Galaxy, or Lightspeed Rescue there. Is there any way I could contact them to request that any of them could come to RI Comic con?

I don't know how you guys figured that out, but Bandai clearly stated it was going to be a Build a Figure Megazord back in Feb, not that they were going to be mini versions of the zords you combine.

Are you running it? If not, I highly doubt it. Generally they need to get paid for events like that.
