While the Legacy Megazord is not as good as the Tigerzord, I still enjoy it immensely. I got the Tigerzord first and just got the Black and Gold Megazord. I think that the proportions are great and it's a very enjoyable figure. I'm not sure that the diecast necessarily makes it any better, but it is neat to have that heft.
Any idea what the new assortment of Legacy MMPR figures set for early next year could be? I'm kinda hoping they're releasing more of the green bos figures. I got Zedd, so I would kinda like to get the others, but their aftermarket pricing is a littlie high for my tastes. Especially since I want to try and get them all MISB.
Bandai doesn't have any plans right now for Legacy 5" figures past the Movie 5" figures. They're currently gearing up for Movie 2017 toys, with the Legacy line planned through 2016. We'll have the Thunder Megazord and the Blade Blaster as late 2015 early 2016 releases, with another "Legacy" release scheduled for mid-year. My thoughts would be a black/gold Dragonzord, but that's speculation.
i used to LOVE when things were diecast.. but i think the titanium line was a major eye opener as to how it's not always the best thing for these toys. i think well placed diecast, like with MP10 can work great.. but if i could choose between better articulation/paint jobs last longer, i'd totally skip on the diecast. for these legacy figures, it just seems like price padding.. like, hey look here's some chrome and diecast, feel how heavy it is, look how shiny it is, it must be worth $200. but worst of all.. these legacy figures look fantastic, there's no denying that. so, because they look so good, people are going to buy them. i just think they could've been updated more. i mean, i've got the sh figuarts MMPR figures and they're gorgeous. i wish the same collector minded attention was paid to these updated zords.
Purchased the Ninja Megazord. That finishes the Zords I had as a kid. Also picked up Zeo 8 inch Gold Ranger. He is missing the shield. If anybody has one please send me a message. Also if anybody has Tor horn or top left gold piece:
Cleaned up on a few ToQger items on Amazon. Got the Morpher, Fire Ressha and the Goseiger Ressha all coming...all for about $31.
I hope the legacy line never ends for a very long time. I want to see Ninja Megazord, Falconzord, Rescue Megazord, Astro Megazord, Delta Megazord, Stratoforce Megazord, Centaurus Megazord, Lightspeed Megazord, Supertrain Megazord, Max Solarzord, and Omega Megazord get the legacy treatment. I too hope the NYCC shows us the Thunder Megazord disassembled and shows us the Falconzord. I hope they mention a Ninja Megazord coming soon.
Ptera Charge Megazord finally got released in my area. Bought one for my son, pretty cool so far. He's also getting the Para Zord and the Raptor Zord for his birthday. Have the next zords been released?
Hey, is anyone interested in the Figuarts Super Samurai metallic 5 pack and a Shinken Red and Gold set for $100?
its pretty amazing the deals that can be had on amazon on the prior years mecha, even the giant teioh can be had for about $53 shipped! which is what it would have cost just to ship it from Japan last year.
Deal is good till the end of the month. Regular is $69.99, on sale for $49.99, and they're running another promotion too with it, discount $5 off purchase of $30 ,plus a free Ninja Megazord exclusive charger.
It's showing up as $69.99 on the site now. With the free shipping and $5.00 discount, it's showing up as $64.99 on my screen. Is there a coupon code I'm missing?
Reeeeally? Hmm. I could put it on layaway. (I don't absolutely have to have it right now, I have my money eyeing other items, it's just that it's a good price.) I hate to invest in it, only to find out I won't be buying the Thundermegazord (dat price, yo!) and/or we're not getting a Tor. (I'd imagine we will, but weirder things have happened.)
