It's not as dire as that, IMO. I'd say it's more of a mixed bag.

Kiramajin is fantastic but small. He has two gestalt modes and the copter has an independent robot mode. He's a lot of fun.

Gigant Drill is okay. He has a neat function where he drills into his head to reveal his face.

Grateful Pheonix is simple but neat in that he has a carrier zord mode for Kiramajin, something we hadn't seen in awhile.

Where things get messy is King Express. Bandai cheaped out on the quality with him and it shows where pieces like to fall off while transforming him. The only appeal here is that this is a rare instance where an enemy mech is produced in toy form. He's almost worth it just for that...but that's the only real appeal for me.

The fun bit is that Bandai actually released a "base" for the Kiramager crystals. It's made out of interchangeable panels and can be used for other properties you might collect. It also comes with Machine Garry. (Buying multiples would be great if you're into Diaclone.)

But, if you were to get two, I'd get Kiramajin and Grateful Phoenix.

As much as I want it to be real, there’s something that feels photoshopped about it. Biggest thing that sticks out is how the character art’s helmet crest foes not bend with the rest of the box. Hope I’m wrong.

Shame it's fake apparently (from what I'm reading online anyway). Which doesn't really surprise me. The ding dongs currently running Lightning Collection are too busy screwing around bad QC and all to give fans something they actually want from the comics. Then you'd better hope the figure isn't as poorly put together as some of their recent offerings if it is real once it's released.

From the credible rumors of an Omega set coming, that's hyperbolic to say the least

The series itself is pretty good, too. The villain of the week is basically the same with a different head but that allows for higher quality fights. Since the villain isn't growing, he's summoning a new monster, that allows the rangers to fight him while the kaiju/mechs often fight in the background simultaneously. Add in some fun twists with the primary villains and that the crystals are also autonomous, you've got a pretty fun series. It also occasionally leans in heavily into anime tropes, so if you're a modern anime fan, you also find something to like there as well.

The funniest episode is where Kiramajin gets shrank to toy scale and literally becomes a child's plaything for awhile.

IF they photoshopped like Ned Leed and Peter Parker into like Bulk and Skull, I would have bought it.

He means the next year over from the Zordon Era is Lightspeed Rescue and its Megazord. (though I thought In Space was the finale of the Zordon Era?)

That's what i meant, my point is, that if we aren't sticking ot the zordon era, then the next year literally has a megazord train that holds zords, and that sounds expensive at zap scale.
    No, see above

Some people consider Lost Galaxy as part of the Zordon Era as it has ties to the previous seasons; Bulk and Skull with the Professor, Alpha 6, the Astro Megaship, Karone/Astronema becoming the second Pink Ranger, and the Psycho Rangers return. Since it happens after Zordon dies though it definitely is Post-Zordon Era.
