I just read about this on Facebook. Looks like I'm going to Target tomorrow in the hopes I have the same luck.
Signalman is pretty good. Not perfect, especially for the price they were originally asking, but for the discounted price he’s pretty excellent. The big thing is the low accessory count. I understand that he is an entirely new sculpt and has a higher part count due to the clear parts, but it’s weird to think this is the same price as a ranger with a motorcycle. Honestly, I’d have preferred they bump the price up another 10 to 20 bucks and add in his bike as well, but what can you do. At the very minimum, he should’ve had more hands. Two fists and two weapon wielding hands are just not versatile enough. also, I wish they had treated the weapon like SPD reds. It didn’t need to transform into the sword, but I’d have loved to see the gun being capable of folding in half into the stored mode, rather than having three separate molds for each mode. This would just make the whole thing more playable, rather than being forced to have all these extra accessories to keep track of. It’s also annoying that they painted the handle in the stores mode, but left it blue plastic on the other two versions, it ends up feeling a bit cheap. Definitely worth it if you find him for 16.99 though.
You think they'll do re-releases of various Zero Rangers and Dino Charge rangers? I missed some back when and I seriously regret it now.
Seeing more and more reports of clips on the ZAP Astro Megazord breaking. Getting a bit nervous for mine which is about to show up..

I just picked up this guy at my Target, but not as clearanced out as what you for yours for. My copy was $23.99, but it was still better than the initial asking price. If this guy had light up features or someway to make the translucent parts light up, that'd have been cool.
id love to see someone do a custom with lights added in. Not sure I needed it on the official release as I’d personally never use it, but I definitely understand the appeal. what I’m really hoping is that this is sort of a test run for other stuff in the same vein. I’d happily pay the full price if it meant them doing any of the metal hero characters or Kamen riders that had crossovers in the US. Signalman is basically a perfect example of how they could do VR Troopers, BeetleBorgs and (most importantly) Masked Rider.
It's not a matter of if it will drop in price, it's when. I am buying it at full price knowing fully well that it will eventually drop in price. That's just how it works. However, I don't want to wait for that to happen because I want to support it now so Hasbro will do more box sets in the future.
My ZAP Astro Megazord came in. The ankles are more articulated than people sere saying. You have to pull down and the joint sticks It’s fn huge for what it is. Like 1.5x the size of the Dino Megazord. Beautiful figure, but the shoulder articulation is rough. No outward shoulder movement. Full articulation below the shoulder, but lacking a little. The slide-out transformstion hampering it. Still pretty poseable. QC is shit, though. On a Power Rangers Lightning Collection fb group, I’m the third person to have a broken tab socket right out of the box. toy was rattling when taken out of the box. Plastic piece floating around the inside of the leg.
Agreed, this is next level bad. Hasbro really needs to get their QC in order, from more than half of the TFs I’ve bought in the last year being floppy messes, to their 1/12th scale lines all needing to be heated so as to prevent breakage, and whatever is happening here with all their megazords, it’s really quite inexcusable. Especially with the increased costs. and even worse the screws they use are typically super cheap (if screws are used at all), meaning they strip super easily - it often makes repairs really frustrating.
Looks like Wave 4 of Ultimates. Wonder what other villain will be in the wave. Hoping for Scorpina but Rito, Squat, or Baboo will be welcome. Hope the other good guy is Alpha with some decent accessories. Doubt they’d include a computer console but could see the viewing globe as a possibility. A slew of the random devices and artifacts from various episodes would be fun though.
Found a Target that had Blue Senturion for $22 today. I grabbed him since that is the price I would have been willing to pay for him in the first place, but I'm still going to keep a lookout to see if I can find him even cheaper than that.
