I'd say the pinless joints and updated helmets alone are worth the upgrade.

 

Honestly not seeing good reviews for S7's line. Especially for the price.

 

I think if they could somehow scale them to 8” as a spiritual successor to Bandai’s 8” MMPR figures, they’d be more warmly received as the toy homages would definitely be more fitting.

Those 8” figures were pretty good toys, just needed more forms for the blade blaster and a far more secure way to keep the dragon and tiger shields attached. Also 45 degree ankle tilts. Loved how they were made out of hard plastic too. Also wish the monsters and villains were fully articulated as they were brickish.

 

Anyone want just the bike from Time force blue? I don't have space for the bike. $15+ shipping makes it yours.

Nah, you can definitely tell by the lack of what's become standard articulation points for Hasbro that these are S7's figures. Now, that's not to say that Hasbro's deluxe 30th figures couldn't afford to take some lessons from S7 in the accessories department. I'm certainly hoping that Black, Red, Pink, and Yellow come with both characters civilian heads and Black and Red to come with optional Dragon Shield parts. Though I could see the latter pushing them beyond the rumored price point unfortunately.

Maybe even a leak of the next Deluxe wave?

 

Possible. Depends on what the overseas community is ending up with at retail before Hasbro bothers to announce it.

Edit: Actually that's something that seriously irks me about this line... how much shit just shows up before it's even announced by the team in one of these streams.

 

I heard yesterday that the next wave of Deluxe has already hit US ports. So I would have assumed they would announce the next wave soon.

 

Can I say I absolutely LOVE the detail that these figures come with not only their regular Power Weapon accessories but the cheap unpainted ones from the original ‘93 Auto-Morphin figures, even down to them having the holes you peg them into the original figures’ hands with?

 

I really just want to see a review for their Megazord and Dragonzord. The only figures I know I will buy are the monsters Hasbro doesn't do. I believe S7 is doing Madame Woe.

BTW, Snizzard finally showed up in my Target stores and is on the clearance endcap. Like what the hell????? Why would they get a toy in just to put it on clearance?

 

We don't get enough action figure toys made of hard plastic these days.

Yep this will be my first import.

Nice how the butterfly makes up the head of the main Mecha and only half of the dragonfly and butterfly make up the sword.

Those supplementary mecha are a bit weird looking at this though. The spiders and ladybugs help fill out the main body a bit but don’t do much. That ant does literally nothing. I thought it would connect the dragonfly tail and butterfly wings but nope, just sits on the tail. So weird.

Awesome that articulation seems to be here to stay after don brothers. Just took 46 damn years lol

 

I probably need an alert now. But everytime I see a new update, I think someone found a leaked photo (Hopefully Deluxe).

Maybe I'm just losing it.

 

Looks cool, but it doesn't matter if the show isn't as well written as Donbrothers.
