I like the look of the cape but soft goods at this scale tends to not lie well on toys. They lack the weight to drape in a way I think many find pleasing to the eye. Hopefully the production capes match up to how these pre sale photos make the cape look.
The proportions and colors looks really weird to me. And shouldn’t he have triangles on his shirt? Id have preferred green arms as well, even if it wasn’t the design
Not surprised to see Shredder but it still amazes me at how quickly Hasbro can turn out an entire TMNT team while Time Red is still the only Timeranger after more than a year.
Turtles? $$$$$ MMPR? $$$ Time Force? $ From a company stand point, it makes sense. I'm sure they see it like Transformers. Here's Generations Scoop but we won't bother to release the rest of the TM juniors at retail because they need more Bumblebee on the shelf. Complaining? Well, here's Quake...sorta. And without his partner. Oh, and here's a Spinister...also, without Targetmasters. Now...MOAR BUMBLEBEE!!!!
TMNT literally is a license to print cash more so than any toy franchise I know, literally they stayed winning
Yes, so winning they don't even have a mass market retail line available right now. The brand is popular and has fans. It's definitely not making what the Hasbro or Mattel brands are just by lack of volume. Their grosses are marginal compared to juggernauts like Marvel or WWE
Yeah, doesn't look very articulated but sometimes S7 does that with their initial reveal images. Then again... the Dragon Zord's design isn't the most articulate to begin with.
I'm hoping Hasbro releases a Dragon Zord to go with the combining zord sets that came out last year or so.
theyre in between shows, they just ended a mass retail line. Good thing they have Neca, super 7, playmates, and mega Construx to tide fans over in the mean time. Oh and now Hasbro too
That's bcuz the master licensee er licensor, master license holder are idiots at this point and have no idea what they're doing, though they do have product on the shelf, they're putting "highend collectible" figures on shelves as well as releasing "classic" styled figures, the problem is the last show didn't work out (RotTMNT) and the toys didn't seem to sell well unlike the 2 iterations before it (2k3 and '12 Nick). TMNT has never had a true "Toy hiatus" or "MEDIA Hiatus" either, TV wise never more than 2yrs without a show on TV, the same can't be said for some of its counterparts, and despite the back and forth popularity of PR that I read about in here, TMNT sells like hotcakes (outside of that last show)
Nope. 5 year gap between the end of Next Mutation and 2k3. And a five year gap in toys to go with it. Another 3 year gap between the pathetic end of 2k3 and 2012 with an equally pathetic output of toys by Playmates.
I stand corrected, on the 5yr gap but it's 2 btwn 2k and '12, 2k ended in 2010. Anyway we can split hairs on this all day, but even looking at PR support just in this thread it doesn't seem to be as popular as it was in its MMPR days, heck I'm not sure it was ever as popular past that, it's their equivalent of G1(BW was better) or ARAH(Resolute & Sigma 6 was better). My fav series is Magic Rangers but I have seen no support for them at this time so I'm not keen on buying much, heck Hasbro outside of the TMNT crossover hasn't released anything PR for me to buy since the SDCC Lord Drakkon and that was put up last yr Sept, it's been a yr since they've released anything PR for me to buy, I wonder how many other people feel that way waiting for their "TEAM" to be released let alone started, def seems the comics seem to be a bit more popular than the TV show at this point
