Got my Psycho set from Amazon today. Basically what I expected after having the previous release of Red and Blue. No paint or QC issues on my set I've seen others report. They look good with Green and it's nice to have a complete team. Hopefully the next time they choose to make a team set they do it before deciding to release two of the five at retail already... yes I'm still slightly salty about that having paid full price for Red and Blue and got jack for them on eBay.

 

how about Omega Red Jason vs MMPR Red Rocky?

they could turn to the BOOM! Omega Rangers for one last fix of Jason, Zack and Trini...I'm sure those would sell pretty well...

 

I don’t blame you and I hope they announce full team sets ahead of the solo releases, gives us fans more time to prepare.

 

watch, the Green MMPR will be available in the team set first, and just to tick off people who don't want to buy all the other figs again they'll put out Dino Thunder Black Tommy before a single-packed Green...

I enjoy collecting Hasbro merch. But sometimes their marketing strategies are really irritating. At least the box set version of red comes with a recolor of Goldar's sword effect the two pack version didn't. I mean... at least when the Legends team redose a character in the same look they add plenty of new accessories to placate us.

 

I’ve been told by someone who actually knew them that logic pretty much doesn’t work. You know what’ll sell, you know what has sold, but they won’t take it into account. Maybe things have changed(doubt it) but as time goes on, it’s like that saying, as time goes on, the more things stay the same. The design and marketing teams are 2 very different teams.

 

Based on what I've heard over the years the marketing teams are extremely clueless and constantly make odd decisions.

Not really since I paid for it at my store months ago.  

But yeah, I went in there to talk to the employee and it happened to be the guy that called me. He scanned it and it let him sell it to me today. That was great. Now I don't have to worry about someone selling it to someone else in the middle of the week or something by mistake.

 

I can see why they want to get the most out of the tooling, and I bet they put in a few more incentives to get the set other than just a Green ranger, but it does sort of twist the screws on collectors...

 

That's just about any marketing team.

 

I saw that one for sale here, I´m tempted.

 

i hope they make the omega rangers eventually, been honest i hope they give them there own animated series, and that Austin and Walter could voice their characters

 

Or it’s just one red ranger body with two different head sculpts. I hope they do the dairanger suits. Maybe that will give Bandai the kick it needs to complete that team in SHF form, and maybe re-release the MMPR molds again.

 

Lucky. I had both Zeo Megazord and Red Battlezord as a kid but sadly missed out on Super Zeo Megazord here and Pyramidas
