Yup. Just a big action figure, kinda like the ones pre-split Bandai would do. but the included extra helmets is pretty cool. Does it have any leg movement, though?
It’s actually Jason David Frank. He gets pulled into the comic book universe to become the new green ranger.
Not likely. That would put three Tommy's in the comics. It's bad enough they brought Drakkon back after his story was done and he's supposed to be teaming up with the Omega Rangers (Jason, Trini, and Zack). They haven't revealed who the new Green Ranger is but it's supposed to be a big deal in the comics universe (I don't care what Boom says this does not take place in the same universe as the tv show) and the current fan speculation is that it's Kimberly's first boyfriend from the comics Matt. Which would be poetic sense the original five ruin their friendship with him (leading to his and Kim's breakup) after he found out their secret and confronted them, but they wouldn't admit to it. He basically cut ties with all of them since he didn't want to be lied to and treated like a moron since them being Power Rangers is really fucking obvious to anyone paying attention (but all the regular people seem to be buffoons in any PR series so go figure). On a side note I've always felt the secret identity thing with the Rangers was dumb since you keep your identity secret in superhero mythos to protect your family and friends from your enemies... the villains in Power Rangers are always aware of who the Rangers really are and their family and friends are constantly being used as pawns by the villains.
i figured it was Drakkon seeking redemption or at least on probationary status as a ranger again because they desperately need his help... so this is another weird Hasbro product coming, a five-pack of the 12" Beast Morphers titan-style figures...was anyone asking for these? Target is clearancing out a ton of them and now they're trying to resell them again but as a set? Is Hasbro just running out the clock on the line? It recalls Bandai's half-hearted efforts in their waning months...
I mean, Hasbro And Target usually do those 12” multipacks for Star Wars and Marvel for the holiday shopping season, so Power Rangers getting the same treatment is probably a good sign for the line, indicating that Target sees PR as a top action brand like the other two.
Man, why doesn't Hasbro just release a series where Tommy Oliver plays all the rangers (including the girls) + the villains? Might as well go all the way Given the hesitation (some would call it embarrassment) Hasbro is treating the PR franchise, it would not surprise me that they would license a hypothetical deluxe Megazord line to a 3rd party. Much like that recently leaked Thunder MZ, a similar approach would allow Hasbruh less risk, if indeed that is why they're acting to skeptical. Did you grab it by the "price tag"?
Ugh. Don't give anyone any ideas... as much as I like Tommy and thought Drakkon's original two storylines were great... we don't need more of him.
I would imagine that you, as a Tommy fan, find it cheapens the appeal as it gets whored out this level?
I mean, pretty much, there's such a thing as too much of a good thing. Though I imagine most fans of popular characters like Wolverine, Iron Man, Batman, etc. feel similar when it gets to those kinds of levels.
I bought 3 mmpr Figuarts from sonofartemis.com a few days ago. I just found out today they’re possibly a scammer site. Should I wait and see what happens or should I dispute the charges now? At the time I thought I’d give them a chance because they were new.
If you're concerned then try reaching out to them. If you don't hear anything... or their response feels off/suspicious then go ahead and dispute the charges. I only mention bothering to contact them first though because most companies when you dispute charges want to know if you've bothered to contact the other party first. Just out of curiosity how much did you pay for them and which ones were they? A good rule of thumb is that if it seems to good to be true it probably is.
I know that but those prices were too tempting. Pink, blue and normal black, they didn’t have yellow listed. $42.98 each including shipping. That’s close to retail price.
Yes, it does apparently: So that's kinda cool. As a kid I genuinely wanted both the combining Megazords as well as the articulated ones, as I always hated how bricked the toys were but they were still cooler because they transformed. I hope to see more Megazords in this style.
Yeah, I'm going to say you got scammed on that. No one is selling those three at those prices anymore and if you were to get something from them I imagine it would be something you didn't buy or a KO. Sorry dude.
Eh I figured I’d roll the dice. Hell I would settle for a bootleg version of those 3. I did that with sirtoys and it worked out.
