Which I find is ridiculous if you want to army Build. They should have a single release of the Putty.
Yeah. Hopefully Hasbro will do some sort of 2 pack for their website or something this year. And I hope it's two regular Putties and not one Zedd Putty with a Rita Putty.
I've gotten pretty into the Lightning Collection as of late. I have Doggie Kruger and the Magna Defender as of rn and constantly staring at online listings for the rest.
Nope. Figuarts are too small. Some of the weapons could work though. Like you could use the ranger sticks in the holsters of the Zyu/MMPR guys. Also, the dragon dagger and Saba are the same size in both lines. You could also use red's sword, but it's interesting because the Figuarts sword has better paint apps but the Hasbro sword has the details sculpted on despite not being painted.
Can Takara just buy out Bandai now and give boa to Hasbro? Maybe then I can get a figuart at a reasonable price!
Even if Takara bought Bandai someone would still have to care enough about Sentai to make Figuarts for the lline.
Dude... unless there was a reissue of the Mighty Morphin team you'd still be looking at extreme prices. They're old releases and that's why the aftermarket is as high as they were. The only reason that Green, Red, and White are plentiful is that they got reissues with the extra head sculpts based on the actor likenesses. Unfortunately for all the latecomers, they haven't done that with the rest of the team. The unfortunate situation is that you're paying a late fee because these figures haven't been available at retail for the better part of the decade. So, even in the unlikely event of the scenario, you suggest it wouldn't change anything without Hasbro deciding to reissue those figures. And considering they have their own collector aimed retail line and don't really do high-end figures the likes of Figuarts... it's not something I see happening even if Takara did buy Bandai and your wish came true. If anything they'd use it to burry any potential competition.
Welp, my hunt for the Rainmakers went nowhere for now.......however at a GameStop I found the Fighting Spirit Green Ranger/ Putty Set which I scored for only $27 (gotta love GameStop Rewards)........yeah, I know Green Ranger isn’t the Main Green Ranger (slight color differences).......I do hope to get Lord Drakkon soon (and the White Ranger eventually, as well as Red, normal Black, Yellow and Blue to make up the Original MMPR Team)
Please no. That would mean that Takara would pass to Bandai their super QC to their lines. Would you imagine SOC with MP Hound's plastic and overall quality?
A lot of people got broken ones right out the box and there are some fragile areas. Mine was good out the box and still is. I’d call it the best MP Autobot I’ve ever seen or handled not counting MP-01. Check the threads about it. Whatever the case, I would definitely not want to see TakaraTomy taking over Bandai. Or if they did, it might make it easier for me to quit collecting altogether, lol. We need some competition.
