This is actually my first Sentai Mecha. I have a few old Megazords but I’m kinda going in blind since they’re not multi-combinational. I’m excited.

Oh, you'll never want to go back after this one. I bought BOJ and BOA Mecha because they look awesome and I like the combos, but they kind of pale by comparison to this set.

The Ultrazord has a head swivel (due to transformation), shoulders, hip and knee swivel... It's basically Hasbro's Ultrazord, but in really high quality.

I’ve teased myself by watching brief reviews on YouTube. The balance between articulation and combination is what won me over, but the sculpted detail, paint apps and gorgeous chrome is like everything great about classic Sentai mecha in one. It astounds me that BOJ never produced anything like it since.

And that black and gold just makes the whole thing tie together so nicely. It’s one of the least clusterfuck-y designs as far as Ultrazord go, but those colours make it even more badass looking all combined.

As much as I’d love to collect Sentai Mecha, it’s not something I can really pursue financially, so I tried to go for the one that ticks all the boxes. Glad to hear I chose right. :D

It's also proof that BOJ can make articulated items, they choose not to. It's infuriating and a little insulting. Kids aren't lazy or stupid.

Kamen ride mecha has a better chance at being articulated than the Sentai ones (though to be fair, at least Kamen rider didn’t have to deal with individual parts).

I think that’s why Hasbro’s Ultrazord interests me so. Despite clearly being rushed, articulation seemed to be a priority. I’d like to see what else they can come up with given more lead-up time.

My kids have been big on Ninjas from Ninjago, TMNT, Naruto and Gatchaman. Needless to say, I am proud. :D

Sooner or later, I knew Power Rangers would be a thing and it has hit big time with them. I got my son this for Christmas.

I have heard “Power Star Lock in! Ninja Spin!” Constantly for the last few days, lol! Needless to say, it’s his favorite present by far and his older sister wants one for her birthday now. :p

Just how tall is that behemoth?

    The mecha, not the cat.

Does anyone know where/if the Psycho Red/Galaxy Red two pack has been released in Canada or is Hasbro Pulse my only option?

I bought them at 32 or so plus shipping off ebay. More than that, it was a price I wasnt confortable with. Also waiting for a Sycho blue that is not more than 30 shipped.
