After nearly 4 months of not finding Zedd (I wasn't allowed to purchase him the one time I saw him, which was a week before the street date,) I finally got mine via Amazon. I'm not even much of a Sentai fan, but this figure is just fantastic. But you already knew that, lol.

I'm kind of debating getting a 2nd one, just so I can clip away all of the tubing. I think I would've preferred if it had just been molded onto the body, making it look more snug. And I also like how this guy's costume looks without the tubing.

I thought only Transformers suffered from GPS? I mean I don't recall other toylines having issues with Gold Plastic Syndrome, just The Transformers.

Also, did BBTS ever have the SDCC exclusive in stock? I'm kind of wondering how to get that one now that it's come and gone. *SIGH*

Transformers must be the most noticeable then because I don't recall any other toylines having toys made out of gold plastic crumbling to dust, otherwise all those C-3PO figures would have a HUGE problem.

I'd say put me on the short list for that SDCC set if possible, but I'm already extending myself a little far these days, but if BBTS doesn't list it ever I guess it's up to helpful folks like you and others to try and nab that set for the international crowd, which sadly we Canadians seem to count as for some asinine reason.

Such a good cosplay just like the show. Plus, with a different head and painting the metal, you could have a solid Colossal Titan cosplay too.

As for the tubes, I like them. Old zedd toys always had them painted/sculpted on and they looked like weird veins, not tubes.

 

Wings! They need touch ups but works well enough for a quick pic

 

I know from experience that some old White Ranger figured suffer from GPS. The shield of the 8-inch figure (the one that came with the Tigerzord) is very fragile. The pegs break extremely easily. I also have heard accounts of people who have the white flip head suffering from the same issues.

 

That goldar repaint is amazing. I'll have to go start checking around here probably after work today.

Goldar arrived today. Love this figure. He looks great next to Lord Zedd or fighting Tommy.

Edit: About the only thing I don't like is the hinges on the wings are a soft plastic and thus hard to move without holding both sides of the wing.

 

I'll for sure get all the Red Rangers and the MMPR team from this line, but I won't turn away some exceptions. Titanium Ranger and Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger come to mind, and I'm eyeballing Shadow Ranger just because I always loved his design.
