At least it's not black leather with a thin 1 colored stripe across the chest.

 

 

On the one hand, I think the suits look nice, and they're at least colorful. However, they look too much like Iron Man suits beneath the helmet. They literally could have used the suits from the first movie, and it would have worked.

 

Not liking the new suits, Red Ranger looks like he could pass for Lord Zedd

 

I'm glad they gave the girl rangers' suits metal boobies.

 

I think they look fine.

It actually seems like a natural progression from the original suits, to the old movie armored look, to this newer armor design.

 

To me they look like a nice evolution frm the original film suits. Also, its just me or they look a BIT like Rita's suit? :S

 

Well it's not as bad as I expected them to be really. But I think my biggest problems with these is that they are generic and overdesigned. But I'm gettign tired of the current Hollywood sci-fi trend of making everything look biomechanical with lots of flowing lines, so eh.

 

The Iron Power Rangers. Do they all have repusor beams?
If they wanted to go techno, they would have been better off with Tron type outfits. At least they could still move and jump around in those.

 

If they wanted to update the suits, they should have followed Ant-Man's design, rather than Iron Man with Tron sprinkled in. It's just so not appealing.

 

But they're missing the Bat-nipples.

 

 

The thing that really kills these for me are the helmets. They look so weird, like bottom-heavy or something, or the "face" area is too wide. And the helmets are always the best part of PR suits.

Also, I'm a little tired of suits that don't need little lights having little lights. Unless you're going to make the light a focal point like in TRON, I wish they just weren't there.

Looks like Facebook is having a meltdown over the suits, with pro and anti camps firing away at each other. Ahhhh...it sooo takes me back to 2006...

 

So are they going to be able to fly now?

 

I like them. I can imagine them changing a couple of things before release. That glow in the middle of the chest is where the power coin symbol was on the original movie costumes in the 90's. They may go along that route.

We see transformers designs change all the time this is probably no different.

 

Look cool, thats art though, not an actual live shot of the suits- think they'll look better when we see them in motion.
