Honestly, I'm fine with the Classics Seekers, because having all 3 (or more) in Voyager size would take up a lot of room, and in this day and age no way is a Voyager going to even come close to the 2006 Deluxe mold, which is still very nice looking in both modes and only really lacks a couple of swivel joints.

This is far from ideal, but it's like Grimlock....I kind of love the character and something primal inside me needs to have a pile of these in my house.

    Ummm....

What the hell is this guy talking about..?

Nobody defends CW Galvatron more than I had after some modifications....

And I love all 3 TR Triple changers despite the gimmick....

But that Starscream is in no way redeemable to me. So this "discussion" is over.

Yeah, add 2 more inches to those Classic Seekers with some more articulation and I'd never have need for another Starscream and Co. again. But for now I tend to switch the Classics up with the FOC Seekers in my line up. Which will continue till Hasbro gets their sh*t together!

I think they could probably improve on the 2006 Classics Deluxe. Even if a new figure was basically just the same design made larger. The added articulation would help a lot, as the Classics was rather gimped even when it came out.

POTP Starscream he seems like he's going to be the Decepticon's equivalent to Universe Ironhide; Despite being one of the most important G1 guys the figure is a bit shite, but there's no good alternatives (other than a $90+ third party figure). It at least looks like the intended character. Until a better mold comes along, god knows how long that will take.

I really don’t see the need for attitude. We get it. You don’t like the figure. You don’t have to.

And I don't see the need for you bringing this back up if you felt that way. So are you and Metalwario64 in cahoots with each other. If not then take the time to read his comments again before questioning mine....

For the record I don't mind mature debates or a difference in opinion. But this here feels like blatant antagony (trolling). Metalwario64 baits by giving WRONG info about Leader class Seekers then tries to cover it up with false accusations and you back him up by trying to paint me as this nagging villain, as if 40 other comments didn't practically say the same thing in this thread.

Long story short Hasbro should know better.

That's the thing. No one's painting you as a villain. I don't know that other guy. If you don't like his comments, just let it be. You are absolutely free to hate this figure...

It's the original head. I just colored his face silver (Sharpie), the back all purple and cut the crown from chest and glued it directly to his face. There should be a post in the Mod section here who did a lot more to his Galvatron being my inspiration. He even gave step by step pointers.

How good are the Starscream combiner feet as feet, anyway?

I was thinking about picking this guy up and throwing the feet on CW Bruticus (it wouldn't be the first time I cannibalized figures FOR Bruticus, that's just my thing).

The hand pieces that come with the Dinobots look AWESOME on Bruticus, so that's where they are staying because they will NEVER be used for that Beast... thing.

The more I look at this mold the more disappointed I am in it. I've tried finding some redeeming value, like whether it would make a good base for a custom, but just don't see it.
Oh well. I'll leave it on the shelves for others to appreciate.

Check out Emgo's POTP Starscream review. He actually uses Combaticon limbs and those POTP feet.

    That would be swell.

Or if Zhan Jiang upscales one of the Legends-sized third party Starscreams, like they did for Grimlock (Man I want that figure) and Megatron. I just want some Voyager Seekers.

Though I initially hated the idea, if Thundercracker/Skywarp happen as POTP Deluxes, they might actually turn out better than Starscream.

    I cant get behind that.

The seekers are all the same size. Cant have starscream bigger than Thundercracker?!?! Hes a freakin THUG!

Best way to get a voyager seeker is by not going through HasTak I guess. I love the companies,(and I could give a shit less until I seen them I guess) but Fans on these boards have been Clammoring for a GOOD G1 style, Voyager seeker mold for over a decade. This offering is not quite what I, or alot of others have been hoping for.

One way this could be really salvaged (my opinion) is if Hasbro does release all three seekers, and either by DTC, or exclusives, has a NICE matching Limb team for Starscream, T-Cracker and Skywarp. Have each limb a jet, and colored EXACTLY like the seeker, and say that each seeker now controls 4 drones, or 4 "Clones" and they combine to form "Super Thundercracker" Or some shit like that

Super Starscream White, red etc colors on jet molds... Blue feet and hands like Computron.
Super Thundercracker That sweet blue, Black drones, and Black hands and feet.
Super Skywarp..Black and Purple Drones With Purple Hands.

Now that would make me lose my EFFIN MIND. But thatll never happen.

Other than that..yea.I keep coming back trying to like this one.

Just remember the source and it makes sense.

Anyway, this mold is too, idk, “off” for me. Maybe fun so maybe my son’ll like it but it’s a pass for my collection.

To me, this could be the Middle Form between normal Starscream (Classsics Mold) and Underbase/ maybe Ore 13 Powered (Leader Class) Starscream
