They need seven more to fill out the Fembot (2), Autobot (3), and Decepticon (2) sets already started in the early waves. This would leave room for another set if there is a wave 6, but not likely seeing as how they're skipping wave 6 for TR except for one figure that would have fit in the previous wave. They also would not need any additional torso characters, but we could get an extra like in CW.

Piranacon is also unique with the extra swappable member for his weapon. The CW combiner formula can add the sixth member, but has to pick one specifically for that role. For that to be possible this set may need unique accessories that aren't made to work with the rest of the line.

I really wish I knew how to paint, because that Elita One rumor is filling me with inspiration. She'd be a great fit. Makes me wonder if I should wait it out and see if Hasbro will deliver this one time?

I can see Windblade coming from the Starscream/Elita mold already. "Jet lady" matches Windblade very well although I wonder if they will retool the wings?

Yeah, I know that I reference Solus a lot. She's just my favorite Thirteen member because of her Amazonian blacksmith nature and creative personality. Kinda like how Optimus kicks butt because of his fatherly, heroic personality and cool one liners.

 

Looking at Inferno I think he could actually be a decent stand in for a CHUG version of Heatwave from Rescue Bots.

 

I actually thought they wouldn't do PMOP Prime but actually either Armada Prime or Energon Prime. Technically, Energon Prime is nearly perfect and CW Optimus Maximus fills that spot already but I still wanted to see it for some reason. Hopefully Armada Prime and Armada Megatron do come. I do want an Armada Blurr as well. The Takara version actually looked really good but everything else about it still got it down for me.

No lie but that actually got me too. I even remember some guy asking for a Rodimus Prime before SDCC and he instantly shows up as the first Leader class revealed for POTP. Maybe Hasbro is listening to us this time..?

Speaking of repaints, everyone saw that Brawn repaint right? Is that supposed to be Fallback?

 

So not sure if this has been mentioned or not in the last 100 posts but a Youtube video has come forward with a supposed leak on the PotP first 3 waves.

The speculation on whether this is real or not and looking forward to future toys is all kinda awesome.

I'm especially looking forward to All the Pretenders and Female Autobots.
I may also grab the full dinobot combiner.

Well, I'm glad they do happen. Knowing what is coming is a great way to decide what, when, and how to make purchases over the next year. And allows me to decide on whether I should sell something or keep it and whether I should pick up a 3rd party toy or hold off for their version.

I really hate them sitting on this information. Once something is on the internet... its free to all and you can't hide it... To support that idea in any way, shape, or form is a fantasy. Though saying that ticks off IP Nazis, its still true and practically an unwritten rule of the internet.

 

A company has its right to protect its unpublished products not intended for the public eye, especially since this stuff was blatantly development stuff where it was made so early on, only the first wave had been made and half of the figures were just the first image they could find of them as some sort of representation and bad photoshops for others

No, I do not.

Yes, I do. Especially when they know and sit on it until the last minute. A heads up with longer times than has been previously been given in the past would be really nice.

"Relevant" is a relative term. What is relevant to them or you, is not necessarily relevant to me, and vice versa.

However, as a consumer, I buy their stuff, as do several others. The ability to plan for their coming onslaught of toys as a consumer over the following year is definitely relevant to me and likely a few if not several others. That big box stores know what they are going to sell, way out before we do, which kinda sucks.

I'm hoping for armada prime, Megatron and blurr as well, Recently realised that blurrs back kibble kinda looks like a trenchcoat, so looks like crosshairs isn't the first.
We need a proper Megatron, didn't like the combiner wars retool.
Looking at the theme of POTP I would love a new overload as well.

So far my wishlist for armada updates includes:
-optimus
-megatron
-blurr
-demolisher
-overload
-red alert
-wheeljack
-sideways
-thrust

 

I am disappointed we didn't get that skyshawdow energon Megatron. Overlord will make a good base for the custom version I have planned  

 

This is how I see Optimus Primal working:

The Deluxe figure will be a redeco of Apeface, who is a triple-changer, with one of his modes being a jet.
The jet will plug into the front of a jet-like trailer.
The trailer is a redeco/retool of the one used for Leader class Thunderwing and/or Star Saber.

So POTP Primal may be coloured like S1 Primal, but he may not be all that organic.

BW Megs or Dinobot will get a redeco from Snapdragon to go with Primal.

 

Can Hasbro even pull off a triplechanging deluxe (that isn't a combiner limb   ) with their current parts count?

 

I sure hope they still can. I still want a triple changing deluxe Springer, Sandstorm, Blitzwing and Octane someday.
