    Guess what I found?

Got the whole wave! No big surprises here, the hand/armor and combiner pegs all look to work as advertised.

Bios are simple but manage to fit in disposition and role.

Interesting Prime to connect with Slug! Note that Amalgamous is not in wave 1. Does every Deluxe actually have 12 variants, one for each Prime?!

Slug is packaged in robot mode and he is spot-on! His feet are incredibly stompy. In fact he's a little back-heavy, which makes the armor piece make a little more sense:

My pet peeve with this guy is he can't actually turn his head in robot mode! But otherwise, he's pretty posable.

I feel like there's a bit of the Rook Hulk-hands philosophy in the hand/armor pieces. The Dinobot ones really look like they can throw a punch!

Dino mode is CUTE AS A BUTTON!

I only tested leg mode, and I had to borrow Brawl's foot because the hand pieces don't double up this time! Works just fine though.

    Bonus: Confusedicus!

Getting to play with these four has just whetted my appetite for more Power of the Primes. These are faithful Dinobots that also happen to make great limbs and have fun punchy bits!

Does Slug's hand cover also come off to form a gun? If so can we get a picture?

I like how there is a giant fucking hole in his chest for the stupid gimmick no one asked for. Other than that, he's nice.

No stickers! And the chest hole also serves as a lower-jaw hole so he can shoot and charge at the same time :D

Thanks for the review. IMO, this is the best POTP deluxe so far. He looks spot on in both modes, and I guess leg mode to even though I don't know how much I care about that.

He's pretty fun, but I can't get past the triceratops mode not having a neck. What the hell?

Transformation is fun, and the robot mode is beautiful. I like the dark grey plastic they used for the silver, but holy hell does he feel cheap. They've managed to cut costs even further from the CW and TR lines. Unbelievable.

Thank God my Target kept the price at $16.99.

Wait, so can the triceratop's head like turn around when combining so it faces the other way instead of up?

Thanks for the review. Slag...yes, Slag and Snarl were the only dinobots I had a a child so I've got some bias in favor of the triceratops. It sucks about the cheap plastic and unfortunately, I don't see it going away any time soon. This guy does look like he just stepped out of the cartoon with a bit of g1 toy elemen's as well. Love the look of slag and the rest of the dinobots. Definately looking forward to this line. I'm ok with his size, but I would happily purchase an oversize ko from the likes of a company like wei jiang

Hah, Snarl and Slag were my toy Dinobots as a kid as well. Slag has always been my personal favorite thanks to that. Anyways, I agree about your Wei Jiang comment.

If you pop the transformation joint on his head a bit, he looks a lot better in triceratops mode.
