Man that is just the TFSS style packaging with printing on it...
For real.... It’s kinda weirding me out.
.......it’s sad that I can’t tell if you’re making a joke or not.
as long as it is not same price point, I am ok with that
Robotkingdom says 25th March for both
Transformers Exclusives Generations Selects Red Swoop. Preorder. Start Shipping on 25th March 2019.
Transformers Exclusives Generations Selects Ricochet – Stepper. Preorder. Start Shipping on 25th March 2019.
Hasbro May have just used their dieline as they had it on-hand (or they had even created it for them)
I’m fairly disappointed in this packaging, I was envisioning “selects” coming in a fancy box ala the 2018 Amazon exclusive deluxes.
He's obviously making fun of me and Afterburners cynicism
Hasbro did say something a couple of years ago about introducing 'frustration-free' packaging for online sellers, with a reduced amount of plastic, so it makes sense as Select is intended as an online only line.
Yeah, and from a “toss it in the recycle bin” it makes a lot of sense, these just seem like they are aimed at the type who might save a cool box (like the Amazon Prime Wars and Universe 2.0 Limited Edition figures)
The idea of the Prime Wars commemorative boxes was a tribute to the ending of that era of Generations, from my understanding.
Most of the Amazon exclusives were figures that were obvious picks to be made (i.e. Nemesis Prime, Repugnus, and Blast-Off)
Punch/Counterpunch, on the other hand, hasn't really seen a widely-released toy since the 80s. He was the biggest shock of the exclusives thus far.
