Probably needs to be in the Toy forum. That said, no, mine weren't tight at all. I'd take it back to the store and trade it out for another as this is validly defective.
You could try contacting BBTS about it. They have a good reputation when it comes to replacing poor QC products. Might depend on how long you've owned it.
I hear there is a batch #72871 that is prone to breaking. I honestly don’t know if that true or not.
Sorry to hear about that man. I noticed mine had a few clips that needed a little sanding here and there since stress marks were starting to appear, but now I can keep an eye on the pipes too. It really sucks that your broke, but thanks for posting and potentially saving my Rodimus.
Definitely contact contact BBTS. I had a problem with the helicopter from Baldigus. They sent me a return shipping label, I mailed back just the individual defective figure, and they mailed me back a replacement.
One of my friends had this happen to him, don't own the figure yet but considering waiting until a later wave
Seems like there is a curse over the TT manufacturing plants and a big ol sign: NO BLACK RODIMUS SHALL PASS THE QC TESTS UNSCATHED!
