this is very strange, because they are definitely the same base design. But some of the details are differently proportioned on Punch Counterpunch's gun. Plus, there are all the added on bits

 

How similar to other car bots is he? The concept interests me a bit, but I steer clear of getting more than one of similar 'bots. I already got Dead end because I owned the g1, and he looked cool, and I got chromedome becaise mtmte.

I got mine. Thankfully no QC issues. The transformation isn't that close to Dead End, etc. other than the leg transformation being similar (but not exactly the same). The car is less of an afterthought than the G1. The robots modes are both decent, if a little lanky in the legs. Some people won't like that there's no real feet. I think I like Counterpunch best. Overall a worthy update.

 

Any comparisons to the TFCC mold? Mine comes tomorrow so it will be a moot point soon, just curious.

Can anyone who received theirs confirm the misassembly error that Seibertron has posted?
For your reference, apparently the shoulder ball sockets were assembled upside down.

 

It’s legit. I just did the fix, and it’s a lot more comfortable getting him into car mode. Before the fix, it felt like a strain to get the two sides together and his arms weren’t staying tabbed in. This makes all the difference. Thanks for pointing it out!

Hey, has anyone elses order's not shipped yet either? I'm getting worried I'll recieve the email of doom from Amazon like I did with Repugnus.

 

Same boat. I ordered it the day the pre-order came online, but it still hasn't shipped. In my case, I ordered one, then cancelled it and re-ordered a set of two, so that might have bumped me to the end of the line.
