I really love the Hot Rod portion of this figure.

Looks great, the backpack sucks but oh well...

Looks like it could have folded nicely but budget ran out for the hinges

IMHO better looking than Orion/Optimus figure. Might be the only Leader I'll get from this line. It's G1-esque blocky which actually helps the stickers to stay in place.

Oh, no question. The back half of Hot Rod's vehicle mode doesn't look it's about to burst at the seams.

I love this, will be my definitive CHUG Rodimus for sure. First thing I'm doing when I get this thing are removing the stickers and painting the rims.

Seeing how he was designed really makes me upset that we got G1 Optimus instead of Armada, and that the chances for a retool of Rodimus into Armada Prime are slim to none. This figure's transformation is perfect for it.

Why is the vehicle transformed wrong from the start? The exhaust pipes are upside down.

Not a bad looking figure, I wish it had a G1 chest, painted wheels and more tampos instead of stickers, though.

    Ok i saw Kevin's review.
    The best parts:
    - Hot Rod figure
    - Winnebago trailer
    - Evolving feature

    Worst parts:
    - hollow back pack
    - stickers on the trailer overlapping on the hinges
    - arm articulation as rodimus.

Rodimus Prime's shoulder joint is horrendous if you're attempting raising it up sideways.
So Roddy arm's better be played on front-back swing poses only.
    What a bummer.

I guess I'll be playing it a lot with Hot Rod than Rodimus.
And just make Rodimus good only for display purposes.

I guess Hasbro kinda "ran out of ideas at this point" how to deliver a Rodimus Prime figure trying to be honest with the G1 cartoon's transformation.
Or probably Hasbro just "timed it right" to release a Rodimus figure.

I hope in the future Hasbro will release another Rodimus that isn't "blocky" like this.
And take notes from the MP-09's good and bad.
Perhaps a mass release version of MP-09... with a real working trailer/car carrier.

It kinda felt Hasbro just took a note from FP's Protector.

I'll be waiting for more reviews if some one can really flex out the playability of Rodimus Prime

Not a fan of the different colors between the trailer and Hot Rod.  Am I missing something, or is there a reason they are different?

Loving how this turned out.  The TFTM accuracy has the little kid in me squeeling with delight.

Hot Rod looks great. I keep rewatching the video to see if there is a way for that double hinge to get the car windshield onto his back, but I don't think so...

The optimus video got me curious if the new POTP Optimus can use a megatron arm canon now. Or Galvatron's for that matter. Really loving everything about the POTP line so far.

Wow he turned out way better than I thought, overall he looks great. I still hate the box on his back but it\'s not quite as bad as it seemed from initial pictures. Clip-on wheels on a Leader class figure is completely unacceptable though and the stickiers overlapping joints is just plain stupid. You can already tell they are warped and damged in Kevin\'s video. I might pick him up if I can but only after the dinobots and the OP Leader class.
