While I think that Kingdom Inferno does look great, the too small size bugged me way too much as it just look out of place with everything else of the WFC scale (same as with Grapple). I did get the Solar Storm Grapple, but for Inferno I wanted another mold. The options being limited, as even the 3rd parties weren't right, I figured that POTP's version did appear to work (as I don't recall it from when it was released, but do have Onslaught). Just got it a few days ago and loving it. It may be lacking articulation, but it does look really great.

The bot looks impressive next to WFC figures and not out of place at all, and vehicle looks great. Lower but so long and the futuristic design just works so the scale does work.

I really love the head mold and details.

 

u should get the ko red onslaught so u can give him the chest he has in his box art

 

Love these Gen Selects dinobots. I know SS86 is doing its thing but these are a fine set of bots that scream G1 and would look nice in any collection.

“How do the 4 deluxe bots all have a sword and blaster?”, you ask? Because the other set is in permanent dino mode, so there were plenty of weapons to go around!

Couldn’t decide whether to display as bots or dinos. Luckily, the plastic crack addict inside me had a simple solution: Why not both?

 

Agree they get way to much hate for there size but there good representation of the g1 toys updated

Very nice! It’s awesome to see them in both modes. They’re both so cool we shouldn’t have to pick!

 

I know a lot of people give the mold shit, but POTP Optimal Optimus goes amazingly well with the Kingdom BW figures. Disappointed that we never got a Primal Prime version of it.

 

After spending about 5x what I paid for mine for the two kits, he can now officially transform into his "3-wheeler" mode and his flight mode is much better. But to be honest, he never was the best figure (and I also mean the original, not just the POTP) that's really best in the robot mode, as you have it displayed. The alt modes are loose and not very coherent. Heck, even the gorilla and "surfboard" are pretty bad (and the mini Prime is pretty limited), though the "surfboard spaceship" kinda looks ok for a science fiction thing.

I agree that in full robot mode is where he shines though and is a fun figure.

That said though, the upgrade kits (especially for the hands, wheels and large guns) really bumps this figure to where Hasbro should have done and he is much better for it. Before the kit, he sat in his box, now, I've actually been able to enjoy playing a bit with him even if the transformation(s) is/are still a horrible mess.

 

Definitely agree that the upgrades do make him significantly better
