Grimlock: grimlock mega punch!!!
Optimus prime: stop naming your attacks!!!
It is bringing me so much joy that my favorite combiner is filling up the page that signifies my birthday in the thread of the toyline that brought me back to transformers. So thanks @Wan
Your welcome and thanks. I never wanted the potp dinobots because I'm not happy with the scale.
I glad we have bmb oversized dinobots now. It's why I finally bought them. Scale okay with siege and earth rise. Some people think bmb oversized dinobots should be a little bit bigger than the current scale but I waited long enough.
Victorian is still cooler then Orthia could ever be
Orthia is 2 terrible molds
-Made of several characters who never got toys before.
-Was (mostly) available through mass retail
-consistent if unpleasant colorscheme
-more diverse limb molds
It really just comes down to what you want in a combiner.
I actually like Victorion's color scheme
These all look great, man! I might massage mine around a bit more after seeing these. Glad you're enjoying them!
Well I also think chrome looks tacky, so my tastes are just weird.
Wanted to show a neat axe I (cheaply) handcrafted for Volcanicus, but the image never showed, so a different path is needed. Just click the twitter link in my profile. I'll have the axe up there.
This one? Looks nice
I got the POTP Dinobots for G1 toy stand-ins as they scale closely to their G1 toy counterparts IIRC. I like the return to translucent plastic with paint from behind to visually bring out the sculpted detail underneath.
However, the combination gimmick is the biggest compromise for me. Volcanicus isn't stable and figures like Grimlock wouldn't have been as compromised had the gimmick not been implemented. I think Swoop suffers the least.
I say this as someone who actually likes how the combined mode can look, but sank in-hand once I realized how destabilized it can become when posing.
The modular hand/feet/arm/leg gimmick scramble city style is excellent but needs better connections built to Last over time. I wish the hands/feet clipped/clamped on to the arms/legs instead of pegging in as the 5mm arm/leg ports aren't always tight and can sometimes be too tight.
Thanks. I spend more time just looking on here. Anytime I think to post something it's already been talked about to death.
Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, I present unto thee:
Anybody else missing the card for the Rosimus ucronimus
At least she doesn't need a $100 upgrade kit to look good.
Megatronia > Both autobot fembot combiners.
I'd say it's the other way around Victorion is way better then Orthia stock
Agree to disagree. The Hot Spot/Pyra Magna mold looks like a squat brick in stock configuration.
