I decided to do some limb swapping on Volcanicus.

I always thought Swoop was too skinny to be a leg but it turns out that doesn't make a difference when there are other figures in front of him on the shelf.

I don't see any weapons ports on the wings. Just ports for tabs in robot and limb modes. There's the port at the base of his red beak for the sword. The only way I know of adding weapons in alt mode at least is to plug in the prime armor on top via the rectangle pegs on his legs (now back of alt mode) and then attach two weapons that way.

They are supposed to plug into the bottom of his wings like in the cartoon but the tab seems way too big for the slot.

Oh, for that upgrade set. I have the Perfect Effect upgrade kit, which is a lot different.

Edit: Even without an upgrade kit, there's something like this:

I think Swoop and Snarl make the best arms, while Sludge and Slag make the best legs.

That's literally how I had it before I swapped, lol. But I was bored and wanted to see what it would look like if he had more symmetrical arms. Plus I like how Sludge's tail makes a nice shoulder pad. I might fuck around with a couple more configurations tonight.

I haven't got these two combiners off the shelf in a long time. Decided they needed to be appreciated tonight.

I know they are not PotP but Generation Select but are the 3rd and 4th Seacons on Pulse going to be at BBTS like the first 2 were?

Quick question. Any difference? Reason to pay more? Bottom one looks darker blue. Maybe? Screenshot_20190912-065201_Chrome.jpg

Top one is Hasbro's US release, bottom on is Takara's Japanese release. As far as I know, they are identical. If there is any difference between them, the Takara version will have more/better paint. But I'm thinking it was the PotP line where Hasbro and Takara started releasing completely identical figures.

All Power of the Primes figures are completely identical between Takara and Hasbro. No reason to pay more for the Takara versions.

The figure is the same. Cheaper is Hasbro, while the latter is Takara. Box difference with only the Japanese sticker.

I think you are correct. Titans Return was the last line where takara was offering a different take on the products. POTP bought them into unison.

Has anyone tried removing the jet parts backpack on Elita-1? Any tips for doing so without breaking something? I'm thinking she might look better in my displays without it even though it would do away with the transformation.
