Yes he's worth getting, but does have some short comings depending on what your looking for in a Megatron. Has a beautiful silver paint job. The way they did his arms that become the tank turrent is a pretty cool design, and still can rotate the turrent. But alas that is where one of his problems come in. His shoulders can look a little off because of the transformation joint.
His fusion cannon be a tad bit bigger in girth, but not too distracting. Articulation is pretty good too. Legs could use some more plus an ankle tilt ,but I'm ok with that. YMMV.
Of course its totally up to you if hes worth your money to get. Other peoples likes and dislikes of a figure may not match your own. If your looking for a decent leader class Megatron, he's your bot. He's not the greatest version, but not a complete mess either.

Megatron does look good along with a few autobots. The battle damage is a little bit of a turn off on certain other figures.

This is pretty much why I went with tr. I know it's basically just blitzwing but I really like the jet mode and like to think of it as a reference to the bayverse. Also on cw, it bothered me that he looks kinda thin. Or maybe stretched, like when you change the screen ratio on a TV.

Yeah, I can agree that CW Megs is a little lanky. I like the TR Megs too. The Siege one looks interesting.
Back on topic: yayyyy POTP! :D

I thought CW Megatron was certainly worth getting. To keep this thread from getting too off--topic, here is a picture of CW Megs with Abominus.

Today at Walmart, I saw a kid in the toy department pushing a cart with all of his mom's groceries. And he was grabbing lots of wave 2 figures and putting them in the cart. I wonder if his mom will buy them for him.

Not sure if I wanna put Wreck-gar on Elita for an all-Power of the Primes combiner or leave Trailbreaker in there.

i have a good argument for getting him.
he is one of the only tanks that doesn't rely on cheater wheels, he has fully functional treads.

and he comes with an autobot logo sticker, so you can turn him into autobot megatron.

CW Megs is a very good figure despite his issues. The best argument for getting him is actually POTP Optimus Prime. If you love him (like me) and this is your definitive Prime then you’re going to want to get CW Megs to scale. And they look great together!
