Just preordered the entirety of Wave 3 with BBTS joining Hun-Gurr and Takara Novastar on my long list of preorders. Once or if these come in that just leaves Wreck Gar, Blast Off, Nemesis Prime, & Repugnus for me. After that I'm done maybe I'll finish off Studio Series but distribution has killed any excitement I had for the toyline thanks Hasbro but hey if the next line includes any characters from 1987, 88, or 89 I still need for my CHUG 'project' I'll preorder it.

Overpaying on Amazon. They seemed to be selling out immediately at all the usual online TF retailers as soon as they said they had them in. And I don't have the time or desire to be hitting the big box stores in the hopes they might have them. So I just said screw it, and just got them on Amazon so I didn't have to worry about it, and had them in a couple of days.

I know some people will be aghast all, "If you pay that much for them, then they think they can charge that much for them!" and its like whatever, its still half as much as I pay for 3P stuff, and now I have them, instead of spending all that time looking:

 

Yeah, that's where I first saw them, but I balked at the prices. You do have a good point though, about them being cheaper than third party stuff and saving time instead of running around all over looking for them.

I keep telling myself that I'll find them eventually.  

 

I was hoping for feet more like Volcanicus, more beastly but I like the hands and rifles.

 

I don't think they've hit massively yet. I've been tracking them on ebay and so far they've been in CA and as east as CO. So they may not have been released in your area yet. I know when POTP first came out, it took like 6 weeks to get to NY

 

I bit the bullet and pre-ordered the last three Terrorcons off of BBTS this morning. I figured that it would be only $8-$10 premium to not worry about hunting them down during this TF drought. Well worth it.

 

If anyone is still trying to find Rippersnapper, Amazon has him for $17.88. The wave 2 Dinobots are still ridiculous, though.

Whoa, there's a shocker. I've gotten used to BBTS charging scalper prices.

 

When you also factor in gas money driving all over town and the amount of time spent actually looking for them, it adds up really quickly.

 

Has anyone ordered and received perfect effects pc-23 for the dinobots/volcanicus yet? I know it hasn't made it in stock yet at the US e-tailers, but I'm wondering if anywhere overseas has gotten it yet. Mine is preordered but not in stock and I NEED my grimmy to be BIGGER.

 

I bought mine at a comic book shop that’s local . Paid more for them sure...but didn’t pay for shipping and didn’t waste gas for the next three months trying to find them at big box retail.

 

I think last update was that PC-21/22 go out this week, and PC-23 won't be released until early next month.

woohoo! got the wave 3 pre-orders (bar primal. $20 is too high a price hike) and bought my wave 2 primemasters at Walmart!

question.... if I preordered a figure from bbts than the figure gets a price rise, will they honor the original pre-order price? I managed to grab the takara inferno during the misprice of $30 and I think I can wait to save that extra $5, but if they won't i'll order the Hasbro version
