Here is to good kids man that's what this should all be about!
I've been to almost all the walmarts in a 30mi radius of me b/c i have a long commute to work. i've seen varying quantities of PotP figures. LOTs of movie figures which don't sell. a couple weeks ago, i did not jump on a Rodimus and it was really upsetting but earlier this week i happened to find them available at 2 walmarts and 1 target near me. I found an Optimus at 2 walmarts, a Hungarr and Elita-1 at Target. Wave 2 Legends at Target. Swoop and Slug can be found pretty easily as well as Jazz and PLENTY of Dreadwinds (seems no one likes to pick him up even though i think he's cool). The only odd thing was, a couple weeks ago, Rippersnapper was easily found for me and if he's part of wave 2, i don't understand why I can't find any Snarl and Sludge figures, unless they're getting sold just that quickly. i even found Rodimus Unicronis at Toys R Us but it was only one.
I really want to complete my dinobots but i think i'm just going to wait for Amazon to get them and be done w/ the searching. I did see that walmart was restocking shelves yesterday, but i didn't see any new TF figures.
Hungarr and Elita-1 at Target is a first I think
Out of desperation to get something new to add, I got an extra Dreadwind to combine with Galvatronus at an out of the way wal mart last week, man that's a good looking combo with the matching purple BUT what Surprised me was when I tried my Galvy limbs ...Two DWs and offroad and whatever Autobot he can enthrall usually one of my Slug or Swoop doubles I am using for Valcanuicus till I find the wave two Dinobots or my new extra Jazz...on Starscream and MAN Dreadwind's grey looks AWESOME on Starscream as either two arms or two legs, two legs makes him stand really well too.
Alpha Trion mashups
Initially I really did not like this figure. I gave her some guns and splashed the floor polish, now I am loving it.
Been hoping someone would do this! Thanks
you forgot to swap the toes.
it seems they all have their toes swapped, so the tilt molded into them goes the wrong way.
This hungry Decepticon is IMO not as good as the GI version but he is good enough, especially with a gun in his hand unit.
Or – and this was my favorite real example – believing that Titans Return would be a toyline made up entirely of Titan-class toys.
ok I guess I see the folly of that WRT WFC, but with Hasbro alluding to it and a lot fo people here assuming it it sort of makes us think they WILL be all Cybertron alt modes, at least when it comes to having hopes on certain earth based versions we are missing.
What does the floor polish do?
Why, it allows Elita-1 to polish the floors, making the figure well worth the price tag.
Coating the joints and ball sockets of floppy figures with the floor polish tightens them up. Like the old super glue trick, but less risky/dangerous/damaging.
The backpack peg would not securely tab into the hole on Elita's back. Polish on the tab fixed that issue.
I spotted the W2 voyagers roughly 2 weeks ago at Target, and recently someone posted about finding the Legends class at Target nearby. No Deluxes or masters yet afaik
Exactly. Hun-Gurrr's feet were dreadfully floppy and loose. The floor polish fixed that problem.
Ah thanks for the info.
Thanks for informing me. I have swapped her feet over.
Where are those guns from?
Power of the Primes will now and forever have a special place in my heart for allowing me a complete team (plus one adorable raptor) of G1 Dinobots.
