You could buy it for the cool Orion Pax figure. It's probably the best version of that character we'll see for a while.

 

He looks like G1 Orion Pax a lot but either of the Generations Orion Paxes looks more like IDW Pax, and that's more my aesthetic.

 

Haven't taken any pictures yet. But I have to say that right now Hun-gurr is my favorite figure in the line. Minimal stickers, integrates the feet better than Elita-1 in alt mode (back hip rockets), looks great in bot mode, and the combined mode is so freaking dead solid. My previous favoritte torso was Onslaught but this just ka-chunks perfectly. The arms fold up and the little monster arms act as locking mechanisms, the legs are posable and solid, and that head and neck plate lock the torso up top in super tight. I love that torso mode.

I never owned any versions of the Silverbolt mode since I already have different versions of Silverbolt, Cyclonus, and Metal Storm, but if that is as solid a torso as Hun-gurr is I missed out. Maybe I'll pick up a boxed set of G2 aerialbots to check it out (would prefer to see a G2 Computron box set but I don't think that will happen).

Elita-1 on the other hand... man, good robot, fine jet, really good torso but those stickers really hurt her. At this point I'd be ok paying the same price and telling Hasbro to save their money and leave the stickers in a sheet in the box, I don't need them gumming up all the these wing joints and to have the corners start peeling as soon as I transform her!

I see I'm not the only one who settled on Nemesis Prime as their SG Prime.
I couldn't replace him with the real deal if I got it for a bargain now.
He looks too good with that subtle color pallette.

It's a difficult question to answer due to the divide, but I discovered it well before Beast Wars ended, so around 20 years.

Yep, it was a big deal when we finally hit 2005; there were even people who did the figuring on when to start which version of the movie to have the narrator say "It is the year 2005" at Jan 1, 2005. Bigbot was another big one along with bwtf. This site and Transfandom used to be the same group, then at some point (I honestly don't remember when anymore, it was after or in 1997) the people involved spit and this group became transformerwold 2005. But I think that's enough on that in this thread, I don't want to derail this topic.
