Damn, that's a nice upgrade kit for an already cool figure.

One of the non-Titan Class figures that was a grail I wanted the most, I waited 5 LONG YEARS to get my hands on this figure, and after all this time, I FINALLY got him after ordering him from BBTS (who surprisingly STILL had him in stock!) as my birthday gift this past Tuesday.

ORIGINALLY, long ago, I was considering looking into getting the Toys R Us US/Generations release of Masterpiece MP-09 Rodimus first, then DX9 released THEIR version of MP Rodimus (Carry) and my attention shifted over to him. Finally 2017 came and this Rodimus was revealed as part of the first wave of POTP and I immediately thought “Jackpot!”, and I’ve been wanting him ever since. Now I FINALLY have THE definitive version of Rodimus Prime in my collection at last! But I digress, here’s the pics I took of him to show him off

Y'know I also got this guy recently as part of my quest to build a substantial Rodimus collection. He's pretty good but shows his age. The sculpt is simple. Too simple. It's a hilarious contrast between the Kingdom and SS86 figures. The shoulders also stink in comined mode and I feel like the Hot Rod isn't as fun as he could be.

But it's honestly not a bad toy. Fun gimmick marred only by dodgy tolerances. He stands in the back of my little display mostly because of his height but he looks good flanked by his many alternate selves.

I got this figure used from 2nd and Charles for about $18. I already had the Commander version but never had this figure. The new version is definitely better but this figure isn't bad.
