Two things, with Grimlock in hand, Deathsaurus still seeming viable, but a little trickier. Potentially the leftover parts of an old fire phoenix from zoids as the Dino head replacement. getting the wings to move from spot to spot seems a stunt, partsforming may be the best bet. and Ion Scythe could potentially be given a gold undercoat as the Eaglebreast equivalent.

Secondly, and this is kinda an off the wall idea. Rattrap or Packrat ala the Transmetals line could be made using Slug, of all things. The Transmetal headsculpt may be affixed in place of the head backpack, but visually they share mechanical detail, the hunched back, the torso shape.

 

Got one. Take four Rippersnappers and a Hun-Grr, paint them into Sharkticon colors, and combine into Leviatron

 

Give the torso the darker sharkticon colours and limbs lighter to spice it up.

 

Hmm... heavily modding CW Motormaster/OP (or maybe Hot Spot - AGAIN) into Ultra Magnus, with the limbs being Cybertron Elite Guard Members. Potentially rejigging Dreadwing into Jetfire and Jetstorm (to play on the combining gimmick), we already have Jazz, and erm... take your pick... for Sentinel Prime. He sure is a jerk, but I think he should still be there XD

I also think the 13 should have proper bodies instead of these Prime Master things, but I'm not certain who to pick for body matches, lol.

 

I think I saw someone do a really cool digibash of the Jet twins from darkwing. I’ll have to show it later.

 

Oh, cool! Really want to see that! =D I could also see Override from Jazz, via some clever retooling. She'd look really odd on Elita-1 though, since they share kinda similar colours, but it'd still fit better than having Jazz on Elita's combiner form.

So..... that reprolabels conversion to make g2 jazz.... I kind of want to grab it, then add some pink to it..... I dunno why.

 

I kinda want them to do a shattered glass label set. I’m not sure what do with my dezarus after I make a Leozack so I’m thinking make some shattered glass autobots.

 

Cross-universal "alternate" Dinobots combiner team:

IDW Strafe (Hun-Grrr)
PCC Grimstone...just call him 'Stone (Slug...I saw someone make a styracosaurus out of the fig on Radicons)
Armada/Micron Legends Ravenus (either Swoop, who is already pretty much him as-is, or Cutthroat for his Mini-Con corrupted form)
Paddles (same guy who did the styracosarus made him out of Sludge, so he's doable)

...I just can't think of who the final limb/member should be. The two most likely candidates based on the existing POTP Dinobot and Terrorcon moulds are either Skar from Monstrosity (we never saw his Dinobot alt-mode, so you could get away with using any of them for him, but there's already a member from the IDW universe on the team) or Kakuryu from Victory (keeps the cross-dimensional angle, but I wanted to use as many different moulds as possible and the Slug one is already being used for Grimstone).

 

How about scowl from rid 2015? Scowl (RID) - Transformers Wiki Could be made from snarl with a remolded tail. He may be a decepticon but still.

 

I considered him, but the problem is that he's not just a Decepticon, he's a fairly vicious and irredeemable Decepticon.

Huh, that's...actually a pretty good choice. Thanks! The headdress might be tricky to translate, but it would DEFINITELY make him stand out. I was also thinking, both by way of rationale/excuse for a pan-dimensional Dinobot combiner AND a way to use that sweet hidden Enigma port POTP Abominus has, of making a Titan/Prime Master version of Primacron from the G1 ep "Call of the Primitives," but I'm not sure which to use for him.

And, just to keep this thread fresh, how about using 4 Cutthroats to make a Corvicon (from RID15) combiner? In which case...who would be the center torso unit?

EDIT: Also, if anyone else has pan-dimensional Dinobot ideas, feel free to shout them out. It's gonna be a little while before I have the spare cash to assemble Team Extinction, anyway...

Personally, I'd use the Hound/Swindle retool for the leg units, since they ARE supposed to be 4-wheeled offroad vehicles (and that version of the mould is WAY cheaper and easier to find these days than Rook), and maybe use SteamShield's Thrust wings on a couple of the CW jets for the VTOL-mode arms.
