Whilst I'm hoping to get the sdcc stuff on the two days I'm there I sure as hell won't be mocking those who don't

 

I am pretty happy with my CW Blast-Off with Renderform head upgrade, but I intend to try and get this too. Not a perfect mold by others' account, but still fun and something different for the combiner aesthetic.

 

I already have both UW versions of this guy (bruticus & baldigus). I feel this mold is the weakest of both sets. Wasn't really impressed with him. If this Blastoff happens to cross my path, I will probably get him. If not, I'm happy with my jet Blastoff on my CW Bruticus.
Everybody that does get him, enjoy.  

 

I don't have UW Bruticus. But I do have UW Baldigus and UW Computron. I thought Strafe was a WAY better use of the mold than Blast Off.

That said, I still want this for my CW Bruticus.

 

I have UW Computron as well, and I agree that the Strafe use of this figure is alot better. His head doesn't keep popping off like UW's Blastoff when you transform him.
Hopefully they fixed that problem with this upcoming iteration of Blastoff.

 

Mine arrived yesterday, It's fixed.

Is this figure available anywhere for ordering besides eBay's crazy prices?

At the risk of being called "arrogant" and "condescending" again:

The figure hasn't even officially been announced by Hasbro yet. Chances are once it has, multiple online retailers will suddenly offer it for (pre-)order, so unless you plan on taking an extended leave from collecting Transformers for the next few months, just have a little patience, wait for SDCC and then watch the boards frequently, as I'm sure a lot of people will repeatedly point out all the various purchase options for this figure, as well as for Repugnus and Punch-Counterpunch.

I know I may be asking a lot from you, but have a little patience and trust my experience with this sort of stuff. The writing is on the wall that this figure will (hopefully) not be super-difficult to obtain once Hasbro has officially announced it. Just give it a little time. Right now the only reason the figure is demanding crazy prices is because sellers are banking on impatient impulse buyers before the official announcement.

 

I laugh. It amazing how stating facts and asking people not to be impulsive is considered arrogant.

This is meant as a compliment - At this point there are a handful (myself included) who sound like broken records trying to preach calm and sanity. The only reason the "scalpers" price as high as they do is because of those who are impatient and can't wait.

Kudos to those who have the extra bank to spend double or triple on a figure which will see availability. The rest of us will have to wait for retail.

 

I go through this so often when people tell me I'm arrogant because I don't ask for help. I do. But people ignore me for hours because "he's a know it all who thinks he can do it all" and then they get pissed off when I reply that I didn't get a reply but it's ok, I figured it out.

I think it's because we've been waiting what, three years now for this. Now it's almost here the FOMO is kicking in.

I'm hoping this will be like Groove, still widely available but I think people are concerned it's going to be like Slingshot who now goes for more than I paid for the entire G2 Superion!

 

Three long years have we coveted the prospect of a domestic Shuttle Blast Off release. Three long years have we stared at our Bruticus’ and felt a longing and incompleteness. Long have we felt no hope for the future, but now upon the end of an era does Hasbro yet give us that which we have sought. For us, our Bruticus’ are finally about to be completed after all these years.

 

Well Slingshot didn't get produced in Groove numbers... he did have to share with Wildrider after all.

Not sure if that had any baring at all given the two share no parts and in both cases they were released midwave but it still leads to more Blast offs and everyone getting one so I'm behind it!
