Everybody gets a matrix and their name includes the word PRIME.
I going to say a great combination of Combiners, Multi-changers, Femmebots, Beast Bots, Mircomasters/Mini-Cons, Greatest Heroes/Villains, etc.
The trilogy plays out through comics, the toylines and digital games.
Whether the Power of the Prime's will be the official name of the final part of the trilogy or just the name for the fan vote, I don't know for certain. We will just have to wait and see.
Either Cyberkeys (But Matrix) or power suites.
Wow, has this been leaked/official before?
It's entirely speculation, although some of it involves leaked figures that are probably actuall for later waves of TR.
I have no clue what the gimmick might be so i am just gonna wait ad see and maybe speculate once we have something a bit more solid to base speculations on.
I think the Cybertron model (sans keys) with multiple themes and gimmicks based on the various Primes, as apparently they've been seeding that in the IDW books.
Beasts and Micromasters seem like a shoe-in
If power suits, I want Courageous and Grungy
My guess is it'll be a combination of Combining and Headmaster. In fact, there's nothing that would stop a combiner from having a headmaster port...even on the underside of the combiner peg. This would also open up more transformation patterns as you wouldn't have to worry about where to put the head in vehicle mode.
The "new" gimmick will also probably include ways for Deluxe figures to interact with Voyager and Leader class figures. For example: Voyager Duocon figures with a common port that lets you swap halves if you have more than one.
I could also see something like Road Ceaser: A voyager class figure that forms an upper torso (including arms) and has two knee ports for any two Deluxe figures (including old CW limbs).
This would also be where Hasbro would bring out their version of Godbomber/Apex to combine with the PMOP/Magnus mold.
We'd also probably see Star Saber and Victory Leo, where Leo is similar to Hasbro's Godbomber. The goal wouldn't be to replicate Ginrai/Godbomber.
So Apex, Victory Leo, etc could combine with different leaders rather than one specific one.
(This plays off the old report that "Titans Unite" was once considered.)
How does "Power of the Primes" suggest this? Easy: Each of the 13 Primes had their own power. Combination, weaponry, minicons, beasts, etc. So the toyline plays off this by showing a world in which these powers have been handed down to different characters in different ways.
A bunch are rumoured, but purely wishful thinking on my part. Tried to be as realistic as possible.
Targetmaster Beast Partners.
I'm afraid, very afraid, that the next thing will be beast wars-themed.
I'm expecting shell formers with gorilla and other dorky animal alt modes.
If it's instead a pretender kind of theme, that's almost as bad as.
Does that fear also include the G1 Dinobots and Predacons?
I think I read somewhere that they will all be able to "transform", whatever that means. Like, a robot that turns into a car or truck or something.
The beast within style combiners
And an -imus automatically is added to their name.
I remember there being some speculation ahead of tr that everyone would be a Titan (not necessarily Titan class) - similar to that I doubt 'everyone will be a prime'. I guess it will involve different factions under various primes perhaps (but still under bots/cons - would be too confusing for non fan purchasers otherwise I'd think), and some line wide interactivity. Other than that... ? Dunno.
There's lots of 'primes' stuff in the idw comics at the mo, but what that implies for a toy line/gimmick I don't know. Maybe a different gimmick per alligence? Combining for enigma o combination prime (can't remember the name), duocon micro masters for micronus prime... But that's not very 'line wide' as a gimmick, compared to tr, for example. And not sure how 'being a beast' would be a gimmick for onyx prime for example...
Hmm, that's a pretty rambling post! Just thinking out loud - speculation is fun
Separate names with a comma.
