I'd say those two are the only factions I'd consider replacing.

if he had slightly more G1 arms I'd 100% agree. I know you can partsform them around to get that effect, but blech. ;)

Really wish they'd done a CJ from that mold. Was expecting them to do more Throttlebot remolds after they did the one, and that didn't happen either.

I display CW, TR, POTP, Siege, Earthrise, Kingdom all on the same shelves, intermixed.

I've got Classics - Earthrise. (no Kingdom figures yet but so far probably only getting Huffer and Inferno - no knock on the BW guys, just have to draw the line somewhere) I have no problems intermixing them except Siege and it's overdone greeblies and smeared "battle damage" paint really stands out.

I just go close enough and put them all together, scale is a lie anyway.

My mini bots all have weapons that aren't included with them (3rd Party upgrades)

And I painted my insecticons to look more G1.

Which Soundwave is that? Siege with custom paint? He looks great.

Also do you have a thread with the Insecticons painting process?

thanks. it's Siege Soundwave, after I scraped off the cracks on his chest with a push pin needle, and added some stronger reds to his guns and eyes. Extra silver on the shoulders, and maybe painted the cassette door trim more gold, I forget.

No thread for the Insecticons. I used Molotov Chrome pen to chrome up the back bits, black gundam marker for Kickback's limbs, I forget what I did for Shrapnel's thighs... maybe a silver sharpie or gundam marker. The yellow chests was the hard part, as yellow is the hardest color to paint. I used cheap arts and crafts yellow paint from Michaels store, thinned with Future Floor polish (milk texture) and applied super thin coat of paint, let it dry for a few hours to a day, then did another coat, same process again.
