This is pretty awesome, the scepter was pretty rad too. I feel like I'd be more stoked about this if they weren't continuing to use the worst version of the 13 that originated from the Aligned 'experiment'.

But still pretty cool. Those colors look great on that Primal, and the crown is an awesome accessory too. Praise the king ape.

Probably, a good amount of the SDCC exclusives are made in a surplus and stick around on Hasbro’s website for a few months, or in the case of Alternators Nemisis Prime; a few years! That being said, I’m glad I cancelled my preorder for the retail release. I like this take a lot more for some odd reason. It’s charming yet so outlandish it’s a great conversation piece!

 

Crazy though that last year's Skateboardimus Prime was hard to get and then showed up at some foreign discount store this week.

Would love it if HTS did a limited run of preorders.

I think he was asking if that’s the retail price. Considering primitive prime was close to retail last year I’d assume this will be the same and all the eBay prices are assholes gouging the shit out of people

 

I hope that’s the case. I couldn’t imagine the overhead costs on the exclusive would’ve bumped up the costs that high.

 

...Um...Ok? I feel like this is completely pointless other than giving us the last remaining Primes (which, for me, is the best part about this set). But that crown, scepter, and especially that throne are pretty dang cool. I’d probably put this figure somewhere else and use the regular retail version of Optimal Optimus for the Prime to sit on that throne if I got this figure. Or I could repurpose it as Shattered Glass Beast Wars Optimal Optimus? Hmm, the possibilities...
