I was able to grab two Blackwing when he was $6 on amazon and I decided to keep one as Blackwing and custom one into Hydra. I was surprised we never got an LG-EX 2 pack of Dreadwing in anime colors. It was a fun quickie, I will admit the paint is a bit smeared in some places but I'm fine with that. Hopefully, I can get two Dreadwinds to complete the set. I was gonna try to do the Mono-tail wing as the OG toy did but it would have ruined bot mode.
Maybe you could transplant some CW Firefly legs onto him? He only has the one tail wing at the back, and those molds are so similar that it could probably work, so it could probably work pretty well.
Thats an Idea! I bought two Blackwings and I was trying to transplant one of the extra wings as the long tail he had. I may just have to get a Firefly then.
Looks great. But be careful before you buy. Some of those cw aerialbots have remoulded leg tops, they don't all match up to each other with the shape of the legs meeting the bodies. I looked into it myself for a hellbat custom, firefly and skydive legs don't match, so they wouldn't go into alt mode properly.
Yeah, its weird. On both of the Dreadwing boys, the light blue/teal was red in Japan for some reason. I dig it better, looks a bit more dynamic to me.
