The legends haven't come with weapons in a good while. Not since the generations two packs where the minibots become weapons have the legends class got any handheld weapons.

I like to think Hasbro put the effort into the figures themselves

Remember the thrilling thirty legends two packs...optimus with roller Megatron with chop shop starscream with waspinator and bumblebee with blazemaster? Legends who were targermasters. Then they phased them out and we just for the figure with no weapons like skywarp acid storm and so on....

 

You are missing the point. I am not asking why or since when Legends have no weapons   they actually don't tend to combine either, just like these 2 Legends do. That is not the point at all.

Battletrap had a double barrel weapon, so looking for a weapon from another bot.

 

Ah okay apologies. I was on the wrong track. The double cannon that came with optimus or octone might be cool.

I know the truck is Roadtrap but forgot the name of the chopper. The bots who make up Flywheels will probably be named Flyover and Track Wheels.

 

Looks like it "stopped" Hasbro in the past, no new indicators for a different story right now.

As it happened with the Voyager Springer repaint as Battletrap, a new repaint could be an exclusive and It actually stop a lot of fans from buying.

 

Maybe the blaster that comes with any of the multiple versions of TF: Prime Bumblebee? It's double barrelled and small enough for this figure I'd guess.

Classics Thundercracker was a BotCon exclusive too. Didn't stop Hasbro from releasing Generations Thundercracker a few years later.

Heatwave was a Club exclusive. Didn't stop Hasbro from releasing Hero Mashers Heatwave.

Grimlock doesn't seem too bad, just toss out the combiner gimmick and redo the mold.

Starscream looks too bulky in the arms and legs. I still need to see what Elita One looks like as a toy before I make a decision because I swear that there has not be a model show yet.

I was just giving my opinion. I'm not big on the side figures that Hasbor has been making. Feel free to ignore it.  

At least both halves of Battletrap are being treated better than the clones were.

 

There are quite a few options from Titans Return Deluxes that came with combining guns. Off the top of my head, Highbrow's is probably the best match for Battletrap's double-barrelled shooter. TR Hot Rod or Triggerhappy's guns could work as well.

Does anyone else think Battleslash is too white? He needs to be a slightly warmer shade of grey like his original toy IMO.
