Big thanks to Italian TF fan Bruno Agostino Scantamburlo for the inspiration (not sure if he's active on TFW Forums but Thanks Loads again, Bud!), I saw his WIP on an aerial custom of a POTP Slash posted in one of the UK TF Facebook Groups which he'd worked into the Skeksis-like hunched dino configuration you'll see in SEVER's Dino Mode. I'd been trying to figure out some kind of differentiation for one of my OSKO Slashes, who I'd already renamed 'SEVER', and this was a bolt of inspiration from the blue. It was a way easier conversion for the OSKO due to it's lack of pins (heaviest part was carefully slicing off that tail as accurately as possible for re-gluing back on inverted) but was it passable as an actual IRL different kind of dinosaur? A bit of Googling led me to Concavenator, a hump-backed genus of therapod, and for me she'll do as a G1-level of "Scientifically Accurate" one of those with a Swoop-like leg rucksack covering where the supposed spine in the centre of the back is. I got rid of the Velociraptor-characteristic knife toe, and added some "proto-feathers" to her dino arms for better representation of her new genus. Done! Or so I thought...she Columbo'ed me though. I suddenly felt the need to give her a bit more uniqueness in robot mode too, so I gave her some Model Support Goods crest horns. Then this morning decided to give her a couple of individualising licks of paint. I think she'd finished now but don't be surprised if she Columbos me again!
